This location can literally not be beaten for this area. So walkable and easy to get back to for dropping off shopping or taking a break. This was our most expensive hotel in Japan. The amenities in the room, the linens and the view (a rooftop and billboard and building) were the worst we had of all stays. Our room wasn’t ready at check in, and when we asked for an extended checkout we were given 30 minutes. There was a washer and dryer on the floor and a microwave which were nice touches. Room size was generous and we did have three beds and a sitting area. Seriously it is all about the location.

We had a good time on the 24-floor, the view win our rooms was stunning!! I highly recommend it if its your first time in Tokyo because you have everything in Shibuya. We took the bus to the airport in the 3-floor and its easily connected to Shibuya station. Super clean, quite and food staff. The view from the lift it's incredible!!

Shibuya Excel is perfectly positioned next to Shibuya Scramble and Station. It is a lovely hotel, with rooms bigger than the norm. The staff are very efficient and helpful. Another bonus is it is next to the airport shuttle service, same level as reception so no stairs. The breakfast was excellent and it has a lovely popular cafe with views over Shibuya Scramble. Thoroughly recommend.

This hotel offers an excellent view of the Shibuya Crossing and is part of the Times Square-like Shibuya central area with easy access to the light rail system. The only reason for the 4-star rating is that our room was a bit small and dated and did not offer 5-star amenities (e.g. a decent coffee maker). With that said, it is super convenient to the Shibuya hood and, if you are not intimidated by the rail transit system, the rest of the city (e.g. the Ginza). The staff is super accommodating.

The hotel was located in the perfect location in Shibuya, right at Shibuya crossing! That said, I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the room. We were able to open our 3 luggages and still move about the room. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Tokyo.

During my trip through Japan I stayed in five different hotels. This was the only one that completely disappointed me. The lobby staff is very unfriendly and pedantic. This fact surprised me since I know that Japanese people are very friendly. The facilities are old and outdated. The room was very small and uncomfortable. The only positive point of this hotel is the location.

Not 4 star quality service
Room was spacious, similar to rooms in US. Plenty of room for 3 of us in 3 person room to spread out our luggage. But room was uncomfortably warm and humid for sleeping, with AC running on high. Front desk was no help. Given this is a 4 star hotel in a major tourist area, the language barrier with staff was surprising-made it difficult to get answers to questions. And service was generally off (like challenging to get more than one bath towel/person).
