Excellent location in upper west side. Hotel bakery is excellent and we received $10 coupons each day which covered coffee and pastry. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are NY small but clean and well maintained.

Wonderful hotel, great location and friendly staff

The staff at the Empire were very kind and helpful. The door guys were friendly despite the fact they must’ve been freezing given the poor weather. The location is great: just a few blocks from a couple of subway lines and a minutes walk from Central Park.

Great location and hotel, very good service

The “deluxe” rooms are nicer than their standard rooms with shared bathrooms that are a series of standalone bathrooms which you can use with privacy: in other words not the dorm like / gym locker room like bathrooms in the non-deluxe rooms
