The Leonardo Hotel is a well situated, comfortable, modern hotel, but what really makes it standout, is the warmth and hospitality of its staff. They are unfailingly friendly and welcoming. Andrea in particular is a wonder! I travel constantly with my work to several countries each month and I’ve never met a friendlier, more fun and kind host in my life! Thank you Andrea to you and your team :)

I really enjoyed my stay it was a great central location perfect for the Christmas market. The room was spacious & the beds comfortable it had a large shower with good water pressure & the buffet breakfast a an excellent selection which was included in your room rate. The main selling point though is the staff all I spoke to were both pleasant & helpful. The only down side was that the bar had no tomatoe juice, so if you were wanting a Bloody Mary you'd be out of luck.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of Bath, making it easy to explore the city’s iconic sights. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the spa facilities. The thermal spa is absolutely stunning, with a series of warm and cool pools that feel incredibly rejuvenating. I particularly enjoyed the infrared sauna, which offered a more gentle heat and left me feeling completely relaxed. The serene atmosphere of the spa made it easy to unwind, and I appreciated the thoughtful little touches like chilled water and plush towels throughout. The room itself was beautifully designed—elegant yet cosy, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the attention to detail in the decor really enhanced the overall experience. I would highly recommend the Gainsborough Spa Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway in Bath. It’s the perfect combination of indulgence and charm, and I will definitely be returning.
