The hotel is very convenient for location and the staff were lovely. The few negatives - shower incredible tiny space and I struggled to close the shower enclosure. It was beyond stiff. At breakfast we weren’t told help yourself or anything. Found it difficult to work the hot drinks machine and it was 09.10 am as a vegetarian lots of things had not been replenished. Parking was very expensive.

My review reflects only the condition of my room and the fire alarm situation. I arrived around noon on Saturday, October 11, for a two-night stay. At check-in, the front desk representative said my room wasn’t ready and also mentioned I’d be placed in a specific room because I had my small dog — something I’ve never experienced before despite traveling extensively with him. Once inside, the room’s condition was disappointing. The carpet was badly stained, especially near the TV and window, making it feel far from clean. Within minutes, I discovered two large spiders on the window sill, which I removed myself. The wall unit for heating and cooling didn’t function properly either; even on the high setting, it mostly blew cool air for a long while before somewhat warm air filtered out. Close to midnight, a loud fire alarm went off. From what I could hear, it appeared the neighboring room had triggered it with steam from their bathroom, since a sign in my own bathroom warned that leaving the door open could set off the alarm. The walls were very thin, so it was hard to ignore the commotion. Later that night, I found another large spider crawling on the curtain, which left me uneasy and unable to sleep. Between the condition of the room, the malfunctioning heater, the spiders, and the false alarm, I chose to check out a day early.

Good location for city centre and university open day. Staff very friendly and helpful giving good directions for scenic walk to city and which bus for the university. Room suited us fine, all looking slightly tired in room but did the job and didn't detract from stay. Not great sound insulation from corridor over night

This hotel is located not too far off of the main motorway. Quaint and quiet. The restaurant served good food! The room we had was nice and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Our only negative is that the hall and room carpets could be changed. Although there was no smoking allowed, we could still smell old smoke. The carpets were clean enough looking, but clearly old.

Room for 2 people, double bed, 1st floor, clean, very airy, space for luggage storage, iron, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap in the bathroom, tea, coffee, all the necessary conditions for relaxation. We also had a TV, but we didn't turn it on. Breakfast was plentiful: bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, beans, tomatoes, butter, jam, cereals, milk, yogurt, croissants, mini muffins, pancakes, tea, coffee... We had parking at the hotel and with the discount offered at the reception we only paid 17.50 lira for 24 hours. We will definitely return on our next scheduled stay!

Very nice hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room and a great breakfast buffet. Parking is 50GBP without the code, but with the hotel discount it is 15GBP. Thankful for that.

Paid £148 for a Friday night (not a public holiday) and still had a very noisy room. Housekeeping miss: used towels left behind the door. And on top of that, you still have to pay for parking — £17 for a short overnight (arrived 5pm, left 10am) — with no guarantee of a space if you leave and come back, so you’re paying for uncertainty. The staff were friendly and helpful, but warm service can’t offset the noise, cleanliness lapse, and paid-parking hassle.

The location is good 10 mins walk to city centre. Parking is easy and for Bath it's reasonable and on site. Hotel and rooms good condition. Staff all lovely and friendly. Complimentary breakfast nice and easy. And finally it's great value for money. I would thoroughly recommend.

Shower was luke warm, this should have been checked bore check-in, hotel was full so no option to change room, other than a room too shower further along the corridor which was not really a satisfactory solution, but by default of turning the cold sink tap on it warmed the shower water temp up marginally.
