Drain problems made the mens changing room in the swimming pool stink a d the showers were being plunged.the smell we through the ventilation to the 3 floor and stank the room our fir several hours.

Parking - No onsite parking. We paid £40 for 48 hours parking at the recommended Charlotte Street Car park. Reception staff, check in/out - Staff were pleasant and helpful. Room - The room was much bigger than expected. It was clean, tidy and spacious. The bath was lovely and deep and the shower was powerful. One minor negative point is that there was not a plug socket on both sides of the bed. Breakfast - We went breakfast at 10am. It took around 10 minutes for us to be seated as staff seemed to be busy. the restaurant was not busy at all. Unfortunately the 'hot buffet' was luke warm or cold and we were not able to eat it. We mentioned this to waiting staff who went to speak with the manager. We were offered to order directly from the kitchen, which we did. The food was tasty and hot - unfortunately the order was wrong but we did not send back as it took some time to arrive in the first place. Location - The location for the Christmas markets was perfect. Just a short walking distance to multiple bars, restaurants and shops. We bought so much from the markets that we nipped back to drop some bags off and headed back out again. Swimming pool - We booked a slot between 5-6pm in the swimming pool. The facilities were clean and with the potential to be very relaxing. Unfortunately, there were too many swimmers for the pool - 15 at one time and many of them were young children who were splashing, screaming and shouting. All beds were claimed with towels.
