Clean and comfortable stay for an overnight business trip, close to Birmingham city centre. Highlight was a swim in the beautiful Edwardian swimming pool a few minutes walk away

The receptionist: Heather was very helpful/friendly with good clarity of conversation and direction. The environment very busy with many people but convenient and safe to walk around. Facilities are great and at close proximity. Great!

I found my stay at the Conference Aston hotel quire unpleasant only due to the room being too warm and no air con. A fan was provided which brought the temperature down a bit, but the noise of the fan kept me awake. T

Nice room. Staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent and a lovely dining room and garden area. Unfortunately we had not realised there was no evening hot meals in the restaurant on a Saturday night. We had planned to eat in or have room service and neither were available. We could not find much open close to the hotel so ended up eating what we could find from Greggs and The little Tesco across the road.

This place is nice enough but just felt a lack of experience in the level of hospitality received. You can tell it’s run by the university and is not part of a hotel chain. Don’t let this put you off though it’s good value for your money
