Amazing room with a shower and roll top bath. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Location excellent across from New Street station and in the centre of town
I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights and it is in a fabulous location very close to the station and a wide choice of places to shop and eat. Aaishish in the restaurant is very friendly and efficient.
Easy access from train station but easy to walk to venue for a concert.
Bed was too soft, but that’s us. Room smelt slightly musty although very clean.
Hotel with character. Very spacious room with all amenities, comfortable bed, very good breakfast options and wonderfully convenient for station and exhibition centre.
Big old hotel right in the heart of the city. Its a bit dated inside , rooms are good but lots of noise if your on the street side. Breakfast was excellent, lovely big bright room, good servce and tasty food. Overall an average hotel in a great spot.
The hotel is fantastic and in a great location. The hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from new street station so not far to carry your cases, the hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming which was really nice to see. We upgraded to a suite which cost £35 and it was well worth it we wasn’t disappointed. The breakfast at the hotel is absolutely fantastic all freshly sourced locally and the staff couldn’t do enough for us an absolute credit to the hotel. It is safe to say we will be staying again.
We have stayed at this hotel a few times and it’s always been excellent. Unfortunately this time we were at the back of the hotel (station side) and the music from bars and club close by was a bit loud until 3am so had interrupted sleep
Our room was stifling hot, the air conditioning would not switch to cool and we were instead given a fan at 0230am as we’re told there was nothing they could do about the aircon at this time. The fan cooled the room but was then very noisy. Ultimately we got limited sleep. The manager in the morning stated that the air con was set to winter mode and would need estates to change this. The room was also very noisy as was at the front of the street. I respect that this noise is not the hotels fault but we should have been advised and given opportunity to request a quieter room.
