Very pleasant 3 night stay at St Paul's House. Room was spacious and had everything you would need. Free mini bar was a bonus. Food was excellent in the Restaurant. Good vibes around the bar area too.
Extremely loud music from the bar audible in the room until almost midnight, at least over the weekend. Not just the bass through the walls or something, but to the point that you can shazam the songs and hear what the DJ is saying. Fine if you’re going to be out that late, but not if you expect to be able to relax in your room before midnight
Fantastic place to stay everything was faultless great location just a nice walk into the city away from all the madness that a big city brings my place to stay when ever I’m in Brum
Lovely hotel with excellent spacious room with free mini-bar including champagne... Pity the TV wasn't working correctly and the lift was out of order. Interesting good-value breakfast menu. Brilliant location to explore Birmingham

Disappointed
Ok room was smaller than expected and very basic . Not any different from a Premier Inn etc..
Limited amount of tea bags and no coffee in the room.
No sound insulation you hear everything happening in surrounding rooms and bathrooms!. Also in corridor.
Breakfast is expensive for what you get .
If you go for the full English and have a croissant you get charged for two breakfasts !!!
Not really a boutique hotel .
We felt very at home .the rooms were modern the main floor bar dining etc .Were well thought out
Thankyou

Nice but not great
We arrived before the 3pm check in time and informed that no one can check in early. Something that always annoys me tbh. When we got to the room I think we had been allocated a special assistance room. It was very cold and the airel conditioning wasn't great. When we got back to the hotel after a night out, the restaurant downstairs was very busy and when we got to our room we realised that the single glazed windows not only offered no heat retention they also provided no sound insulation. We heard every conversation taking place up in to the early hours.
The place is clean and tidy but needs more work on making it comfortable.
Great stay and 10 minute walk to the Utilita Arena.. Thank you. We will be back and we will recommend you.

Excellent customer service throughout our stay. Lovely property (interior and exterior) and good surrounding area. Excellent location for the Utilita Arena.
Really large room. Has an upgrade I think but wasn’t told. Room was definitely bigger than and looked different to the image for the one I booked. Bit out of the way, but in a nice area and still easy to get in / out of town. Would recommend and would stay again. Brilliant breakfast the next day, plus you get a discount if you stay room only and pay the next day. Massive plate and buffet continental too!

If you want to stay in a disco, this is the place for you - not if you want a night’s sleep. There is a DJ in the bar area blasting out sounds of the 1980s from at least 6pm until midnight. And yes reception, you can feel and hear it in the first floor rooms. Apart from that, we had no remote control or coffee in the room.
Honestly not the best stay. The service was fairly cold/unfriendly which I wouldn’t expect for a nice boutique hotel as this is billed. And then my room was really average- low bed that was very springy and a tiny cell-like window but the worst thing was the smell of the bathroom- clearly bad drains or something but it was truly repulsive! Not normally a complainer so I hate to do this but i was really disappointed
Very clean and quiet, lovely spacious room and central location. The lady on reception was very polite and friendly. Would stay here again if in the area.
Enjoyable stay in nice surroundings. Pub downstairs does get quite lively (as does the outdoor street) but wasn’t too noisy and for reasonable price can be overlooked. Would recommend
