My top priorities in choosing a hotel are comfort, cleanliness, safety, location, and cost.
Ibis fails on number 1. The A/C is so underpowered, it might as well not exist. They've also locked the windows for "safety," so that they only open a small crack. The room was so grossly hot and uncomfortable, it wasn't even funny.
Fortunately, the temp dropped the second night and it was more comfortable. In that case, this is an acceptable place to stay. It is on the opposite side of the train station from most of the town, so be prepared for 15-20 min walks to most places.
Other than that, it was a good hotel. Would recommend a long as you're sure it won't be a hot day when you visit
