Was a very comfortable stay, Ideal for our purpose of visiting family in Ashley Down. We enjoyed the tea and coffee making facility, and there was a pretty comprehensive pub food menu, but we didn't have time to try anything.
Its a bit up from the main strip of Gloucester Road, but handy for Southmead Hospital and plenty of buses into town.
we slept well apart from the odd siren and contrary to the Hotels.com description, lovely clean towels and bedding were provided.
The only thing I wasn't so keen on coming from the red half of Bristol were some framed Bristol Rovers programmes and posters in our room, but was all very tasteful and respectful to the buildings history as it was once a Gashead stronghold.
