What you’d expect from a good budget hotel. No frills but clean and comfortable, with a nice bar area and decent breakfast. Does exactly what you need it to.

We would go there again
The room was very cold on arrival. Once we turned the fan off the air conditioner, the room warmed up and it was better. Poor position of the unit because it blew directly down on to one side of the bed. The room lighting was dingy despite all the eco lamps around the room. Other than that it was ideal for our purposes for just two nights. Parking is not free but with a code provided by the hotel is equated to about £5 per day and was on site.

Stayed before and again was a good stay at a reasonable price Staff are nice and breakfast was good. Pay parking for disabled is a bit harsh. Would stay again. Could do with EV charge points

Easy access to where we needed to be. Parking was extra but understandable due to proximity of football stadium, hotel gives you a discount code so not too expensive. Room has all amenities you need. The room was a little cold due to poor seal around window but the curtains helped. Breakfast was great, much better than another hotel chain beginning with T! The orange juice actually tasted of orange! We ate out on first night as there a couple of restaurants nearby but we ate in the hotel 2nd night, both had pizzas which were tasty & hot. They were a little slow on the bar due to new staff but they were cheerful and helpful. Would stay again if I was in the area.

The one slight negative was the noise from the heating/air conditioner in the room. And £5 a day for parking is a bit expensive.

Overall fantastic.
Really lovely hotel. Very clean and well presented. Personally my husband and I didn't like the pillows, they were too hard, even with flipping over, we ended up not using them at all. No reflection on the hotel but it was also very noisy till about 12.30 am, someone was in and out in the neighbouring room and kept letting the door slam shut.

Holiday Inn stay
Pretty good overall but a couple of niggles. Room heating was sporadic and mostly cold. We couldnt turn it up because it was noisy and kept us awake. Also disappointing not to offer any mushrooms or fried eggs at breakfast. As a vegetarian I was a bit short of choices.

Stayed for an event at the velodrome up the road which is walkable i think the hotel was either event attendees and a welsh school party all of which were well behaved Nice breakfast this morning too
