Absolutely loved this hotel, great location for everything we did, brilliant breakfast and very good in room facilities. 5 star all the way

First and foremost, excellent Location! Of course that's why you pay extra to come to the Riu. It is within walking distance to many Muni transporatation option, and offer easy walking access to the Fisherman Wharf and the Alcatraz ferry tour. The parking fees for it are pretty expensive, and we kind of regretted parking there instead of the multiple cheaper options around the area. It is also not very luggage friendly, as they insisted on including stairs no matter which way out of the parking lot you picked.

Walkable to Pier 39, Lombard Street and Ghiardelli Square

Very comfortable beds and bedding. The room was quiet, the view stunning, and parking was easy.

Clean and safe

Everyone was helpful from check in to getting a taxi when we left. This restaurant prices were very high. We’ll have to eat elsewhere next time.
