So convenient for "Curve" theatre!
I had a comfortable couple of nights here. The room was fine and had everything I needed. Breakfast was OK. The best thing for me was the position of the hotel: about ten minutes' easy walk from the station and - better still! - just a few yards from Leicester's wonderful Curve Theatre. The price of my stay was minimal and I would certainly stay here again when attending something at the theatre.

The room was dirty and not in a good state of repair. Behind the doors was dust and dirt, the bathroom floor was disgusting and stained and there were some kind of bugs in the bathroom too.

Awful customer service
Absolutely awful service. Had a 4 night stay, we arrived late on the first night so the next morning we saw there was a massive orange, red stain on the ceiling, I asked reception if they could ask housekeeping to clean it, they said yes. Came back late that evening and the stain was still there, it was absolutely dirty and disgusting. I explained to reception again that the stain was still there and I saw him write down for 12pm the next day for the cleaners to come to handover to day shift. The next day we arrived back in the evening and the stain was still there! I explained this to the receptionist upon checkout and she said to us if we asked to change rooms.. no I didn"t as I thought it would be fixed but this would have been lovely to be offered this prior to checkout instead of us having to ask for it and only been told this when we are checking out. Awful customer service and cleanliness... seems like no internal communication or otherwise they just don't care about their customers.

Excellent location for being out and about in Leicester. Good to have a room that isn't superheated like so many hotels. Small niggle was half a toilet roll for an overnight stay.

Going down hill
Place is going down hill. Had a 4 day booking and when I arrived they said hotel was full and took 15 minutes to find my booking. Staff change has happened and it isn't working out. I've spent around 20 days each year here, but will never return after this stay.
