The dining service very slow, waited an hour for food and had to go and remind staff at bar that they hadnt brought drinks over. Seemed like not enough staff for amount of people booked in hotel
The hotel was nice..good sized rooms..comfy beds. Sadly the breakfast let it down. Over priced for the choice and quality. Tables not cleaned well...food not kept stocked up fast enough.
Also why would they knock to clean our room at 9am on a Sunday morning...when we're due to checkout at 11am? Surely there is some system to inform housekeeping of when guests have checked out.
And finally we were told to leave towels on the rail if we didnt want them changed...which we did...but they changed them anyway and have us only two rather than three.
Pretty poor service for what should be a top quality hotel.
Always enjoy staying here, staff are always very friendly and rooms and breakfast excellent. Only downside this time was we were unable to use the leisure facilities as they were fully booked, bit frustrating as this is part of the reason we choose this hotel
The hotel was nice, some wear and tear in the room which as the curtain was torn. The size to the tv was small in comparison to the room. Lovely sized room and very comfortable beds. Room was very clean too!
The disappointing side of things: it’s not mentioned on the website that the leisure facilities require booking so this was disappointing as everything was fully booked. The barrier in the car park on the way out also asks for a code which were weren’t told about and the intercom was not working. This was an issue for other cars as well.
TV signal in room 458 was poor and unwatchable. Rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was nice plenty of selection. There is a right to faff trying to leave through the barrier at the car park the following morning. You need a code which they don't seem to give to you until you check out. So a large queue, time to wasted having to get a 4 digit code that could be written on your checkin slip the night before 🤔

Receptionist was not polite and had her mind on something else. But it was a very hot day, one of the hottest this year sand there was no air conditioning so sleep was difficult. For such a big conference centre i would have thought AC would be standard.
