Our stay started off not knowing where to check in, there was Boone around and Boone in the bar we noticed there was a party going on and we found the owner who did check us in.
The hotel was nothing like the picture on hotels.com the front was full of recycling bins and some building materials it didn’t bother us but the pic was misleading…I’m assuming the pic was of the garden at the back.
Our room was basic, 2 cups between 4 people, no toilet roll and the shower was either freezing cold or burn your skin off no inbetween. Still this wasn’t an issue as we’re pretty flexible and it’s a bed to get a good night sleep at the end of the day.
As mentioned there was a party going on, which u could hear a little bit but was pretty much unheard once the tv was put on that was until 11:30pm when the party came inside honest it was so loud it sounded like they were in our room!!! Shouting signing stomping about on the landing singing happy birthday screaming belting out songs until 1:30am is not acceptable! We did hear someone knock on the door and assumed they’d told them to keep it down as it did go quiet for about 10 mins after that but it soon went really loud again. Luckily my 2 children were knackered and slept through most of the noise, me on the other hand heard it all.
We left the property early this morning as we couldn’t stay any longer the beds were so uncomfortable and lumpy and there was nothing to do and nowhere to eat. We went and had breakfast elsewhere
Stayed here as we were booked to do the Anfield tour. The room was fine for an overnight stay after a long drive. The owner was great and very accommodating, and I would recommend the hotel and I can only imagine the atmosphere on a match day!
We didnt stay at hotel so can review hotel we tried to cancel and was told refund avaliable hotel policy wasnt amuzed had to cancel for personal reasons
Hotel was lovely, staff are very friendly and approachable, easy and convenient to the city centre. Will be coming back in the summer.

I would say it’s an average 3 star hotel. Needs works. Kettle covered in dust and just 2 open teabags left in a cup for a family of 4. No shower gel in dispenser, rusty toilet roll holder, keys to front door of property didn’t work. The walls had large areas of scuffed paint as though a bed had been repositioned. The carpet, as you go upstairs needed a good vacuum. Host was always available and welcoming. Allowed us to leave our vehicle in the car park after check out whilst we visited the Anfield Stadium which is literally at the end of the road from hotel.
The room was nice and the staff were wonderful. We arrived late so we went straight to bed. The next morning as we were leaving the hotel manager told us all about the home and its history and gave us a tour. Parking was very easy - right in front of the property.
It really wasn’t what was advertised, we were given a different room than we booked Only 1 member of staff on duty somewhere, couldn’t use facilities because no one there to serve. Couldn’t turn the heated rail off in bathroom. For the price they charged it was terrible, expected more going by the reading of it. Walls had holes in them, bed springs were coming through the bed. I wouldn’t stay there again.

From all the hotels I’ve stayed in around Liverpool for games and weekends away this has been the best.
Staff so nice and rooms was very clean great location .
Will definitely be back again!
We arrived an hour before check in time and was told we could go straight to the room as it was ready. The man who greeted us was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel had free parking, it was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable, we slept very well. In the room you are provided with tea, coffee, milk, a hairdryer and an iron. The hotel is within a couple of minutes walk to LFC stadium and an hour walk to the city centre shops/tourist attractions. We twice got a cab from Albert docks and it cost £8.60 each time.
