I booked this in Expedia after seeing the 8.5 star rating. I don’t know what hotel others got but our stay was not 8.5. Front desk would not even check to see if a room was available when we arrived at 2:15. The halls and room doors looked beat up. The air conditioner had to be figured out and there were no directions on how to work it. There was a cafe downstairs which was open when we were killing time but when I went back a few hours later, it was locked and closed. Front desk told me someone was coming but I gave up after waiting for 30 minutes. Was told to go to restaurant, but had zero interest in paying $6 for a tiny bottle of soda. Room service was awful and overpriced. One person in our party ordered gnocchi, but what she got was ziti in some sort of cream sauce. She also got violently ill overnight- which we are sure was food poisoning. They also booked in multiple tour groups that arrived at the same time and elevators were a nightmare. Hated every minute of the stay.

showed up to be told there was not parking spaces available, but would have to park 10 minutes away from the hotel. Everyone that checked in after us managed to magically get a space. We checked in and when we booked the room, we payed extra to have a room overlooking the runway of heathrow airport, we got to the room and we where overlooking the hotels car park. The staff member got our room changed but we still couldnt see the runway. We gave up with that as they obviously werent going to prioritise us as we do not look like we come from money. If you look rich then youll have the best rooms and magically get a parking space. After speaking to the member of staff about everyone magically getting a space, he told us we could stay where we where and pay for parking, so thats what we did. About every single time we left the hotel we wpuld get told to move the car , even though it was in a space, not blocking anyone or in the way. On another note the swimming pool was lovely.

Room is lovely and spacious, beds are quite uncomfortable and the pillows are too. Room wasn’t completely clean, there was hair in the shower and food left in the fridge so clearly not a thorough job done. Pool was lovely, spa area and gym too. Only thing I’d say is there’s no where to sit if you take your kids to the pool and don’t necessarily want to dip in, it looked as if there was a viewing gallery but we couldn’t find the entrance! Staff were friendly! Would stay again.

It's closest to terminal 4 when taking an uber. The lobby is in the bottom & awkward to get into. The room was ok.The pool is warm & beautiful but no handrail to get down the steps. The hot tub is full with 4 larger persons that tend to stay in for a long time. Theres no private changing room. We ate at the restaurant & the fish & chips was really good!! However, we wanted just oatmeal for breakfast & could only have a buffet. The smaller coffee shop doesn't open till 10. So we checked out & went to the train station. It's out by itself so no options for anything else. The desk person spoke unclear english & was hard to talk to.

Terrible service and no room allocated

We arrived at the hotel at 10:30am and parked the car for the day. The staff said the desk is open for 24hours so we could check in later. When we arrived at 11pm to check in, there were a number of staff members on the check in desk but none of the staff could check us in. The staff member explained that there were no rooms that had been allocated and we were asked to wait for 5 mins whilst this was completed. After 20 mins, we still had not been allocated a room and there were groups of people now gathering at the check in desk with the same problem. None of the staff could explain why our rooms had not been allocated since we had all made bookings. They explained that they needed the manager to do this yet the manager didn’t seem to understand that all people in reception were waiting for him to do it. The service we received was rubbish. It is really poorly managed and at nearly midnight, this was not good enough.

Hotel was lovely however staff in car park and bar area were very unhelpful and obviously needed some training in customer service. If you’re planning on parking there - you’ve got no hope. I got told no room go and park behind that building - that building was Heathrow airport

Clean , quiet , but didn't feel any better than nearby 3 star hotels that I used in the past, Offered a complimentary 12:00 check out when I checked in but later, was told they are busy and asked me to checkout at 11:30 Breakfast experience was not good, they had a huge group in the breakfast area and they weren't prepped , no clean dishes and dirty cutlery on almost every table. Offerings were limited and not worth the money. Only two staff were trying to clear up. In summary wasn't bad or amazing , but If I had the option to use nearby hotels with better rate , I wouldn't pay extra to come back again
