It might be better if you have a car but the bus stop is close by with a 15 minute ride to downtown Croyden

Nice facilities, well located for access to the M25 and South London. The room was a decent size with floor to ceiling windows that let the daylight in. Parking had changed since the last time I was here. Now it's £10 per 24 hours whereas in the past, if I recall right, it was free, as long as you entered your vehicle registration at reception. All in all, great value for money.

Be early for breakfast - they stop serving early!
Helpful friendly staff throughout. Breakfast was farcical though. Due to end at 10 we got down at 9 45 but there was little food left. (No eggs, bacon and 4 suagaes were left which were quickly snapped up) We waited for more to be brought out but it never happened. I queried the situation only to be told breakfast was finished, The waiter could not explain why they were charging for a breakfast they did not provide. He went into the kitchen and cam back saying it would be 20 minutes if we wanted to eat anything. We did not have the time and left. A poorly run meal service.

Functional stay, stayed before, rooms always clean. Only negative on this stay was shower control for hot and cold wasn't working so show was to hot and no alternative to have a bath as all controls for water temperature the same.

Parking is not free for hotel guests but restaurant guests can park free for 3 hours. The room we had was small but comfortable.

Disappointing stay
Hotel is rather tired and could do with refurbishment. Lift was not working. Staff mostly pleasant but some of them had no instruction of what to do when there was a fire alarm requiring evacuation. No ability to charge meals/drinks to room account. Breakfast was adequate but below the standard one would expect of the standard of hotel portrayed. Car parking available on site but expensive and not informed beforehand.

Very nice hotel, good breakfast and friendly staffs. Tv wasn't a smart one. You can't watch netflix or mirror your phone to the TV to watch netflix.
