I received an early check in which was great, however when I got to the room the kettle wasn't working. I called down and reception said maintenance would be up, that was around 1pm, by 6pm still no one. I called again and reception sent a kettle but still took 20 mins. There weren't any items in the bathroom like shower cap, toothpaste etc. The main bin hadn't been emptied after day one.

Lovely hotel, modern decor throughout and well kept. Fantastic views of the city and well located near to Canary Wharf. The only downside was that the room was so hot, our first room we couldn't get the inside temperature down from 27c which lead to a very uncomfortable nights sleep due to a faulty air con. The hotel did provide us a fan which helped a little. For the second night they moved us into another room which we appreciated but unfortunately it was a similar story though this room was slightly cooler at around 25c. Again the fan was helpful. I would stay here again but they need to do something about the temperature of the rooms.

Really great views from those rooms on high floors, we were on floor 30 and it was great. Cleanliness especially in the swimming pool sauna area was poor and we did report it to guest services as dirty underwear was left strewn across changing facilities, there were no towels and the hairdryer wasn’t working for example. Breakfast and particular was great and a tip is to try and get there early to get a window seat.

Always a pleasure

This was my fourth visit to Novotel Canary Wharf, and once again, it exceeded every expectation. My only regret was not staying longer. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel truly valued. TJ at reception greeted me warmly and answered every question with ease, while Kevin came to my rescue when I dropped my ring in the sink- his kindness and patience were greatly appreciated. Breakfast was a daily highlight- not only for the breathtaking panoramic views, but also for Barbara’s attentive and friendly service. The facilities are excellent. I made full use of the gym each day, returning to a spotless room with fresh towels, a neatly made bed, and a fridge stocked with water. My last evening was unforgettable at Bōkan, thanks to Lee, and Alex C., who crafted exceptional cocktails as the sun set over the city. The rooftop terrace is an absolute must for drinks and a view, while also offering a welcoming and comfortable space for those dining alone. Novotel Canary Wharf continues to deliver comfort, style, and genuine hospitality. I look forward to returning- next time for longer.

Very Rude the booking reservation manager

I have reserved room and I was to pay at the hotel reception and I didn’t booked just reserved and it was clearly mention that you want to pay online or you want to pay at hotel I choose pay at hotel and also mention that put your card details and we will never charge you without your consent so because of some reason I didn’t went and the hotel deduct £211 then I contact with the duty reservation manager I explained he was very rude instead of he explain me he has no thoughts no explanation regarding the hotel policy he was rude to me , said we can’t do and I ask for compensation he still have no answer no idea and was rude and unprofessional and unexperienced staff , he doesn’t know that I am the manager of this 5* hotel and how should I talk with our customers, and I ask to give me your duty manager or other high ranked manager to contact with them but he was unprofessional and was very rude , I am very disappointed and will never booked and never recommend to anyone if they have these type of rude and unprofessional staff ,

The property itself was fantastic. Clean, great staff who were more than helpful. However the current situation regarding the Britannia Hotel across the road made the trip a bit uncomfortable. Hopefully that gets resolved soon. Without that this would have been 5* across the board.

Property was great and breakfast and room was amazing. The only bad thing was this incredibly rude lady downstairs who kept shouting at us to move around when we were quequing. All the other staff was so lovely. Breakfast was delicious and view was great. The roof bar is awesomw but the prices are ridiculously expansive, 30£ for 2 small glasses of wine is a bit much.

I had a lovely stay here. I would definitely book again the next time i go to london. Great location. Room was very clean and had a lovely view of london. Bed was comfortable as well. Room was very spacious too which was nice.
