Worst hotel ever! Staff are very rude and unhelpful. I had issue at night and the staff were unable to resolve any issues. Would not stay here even if it was given to me for a free for a month! Bathroom very dirty, water so hot nearly burnt myself. Paid extra for window and the window was broken would not close. Did not have a telephone in the room.

It is a comfortable but dated hotel. I would stay here again but only if the price is comparable to the ‘budget’ hotels.

Budget hotel, thought clean and staff helpful,.some of things can be improved with the latest norms in hotels, no mixer taps for washbasin which I found strange. Furniture and stuff mostly dated so may help future clients retainability if improved, otherwise good stay.

Staff at reception was assertive and not friendly. I could hear staff on walkie talkies from the corridor and doors banging throughout the night.

Clean bathroom and bedding. Rooms need some serious tlc.
It took almost 40 minutes to queue and check in. After a 3 hour car journey I was busting for the loo only to find it locked (told I needed to speak to reception). We both were ID’d which has never happened before and only got one room key between us.
The room whilst clean, had a weird smell and was really hot and the bed and pillow were rock hard. I barely slept. Thankfully we were there for just one night. Don’t think we will return here.

For a 3 star hotel it’s what you expect. We stayed for 2 night. 1st night wasn’t too bad apart from the beds are so uncomfortable we woke up with sore backs. The second night we barely slept. At around 3am we were awakened by a man sleeping outside our door and making so much noise. Unsure if he was homeless or not. Then at around 6am don’t know if it was the bins getting emptied but the banging was horrific.
Location is terrific! Hotel is tired--fabulous decor when first built but needs updated loving. Radiiator het comes on at ??? Times and internet was ok on 1st night and nonexistent on 2nd night.
I paid extra for a window room but the ‘window’ was very high up the wall so you couldn’t see out of it and it barely opened. This was extremely misleading. I was also put in a room right next to a fire door which slammed very loudly every time someone went through it so this was extremely disruptive. I requested to move to another room but the only thing available was a smaller room with no window at all. I didn’t find the staff very helpful or understanding about this. They could’ve at the very least offered a free breakfast or something for the inconvenience. Instead they just said they can’t do anything. The room itself was ok, very run down like the rest of the hotel. Bed was comfy but the pillows rock hard and uncomfortable. Good shower though. The phone in our room didn’t work, nor did the extractor fan in the bathroom. The whole hotel has so much potential but isn’t looked after and the staff aren’t particularly helpful. It’s cheap for a reason. Also no hair dryer in the room which I’d had thought is a basic amenity. The kettle was spotless though. Overall, wouldn’t stay again.
Clean room, comfy bed but very uncomfortable nights as I couldn't control the baking heat from radiator or turn it off and window had to kept locked as people had been jumping out and office block opposite had lights full on most of the night shinning dirrectly into my room.
