Checked in and went to my room. Turned the shower on, but the controls didn't work properly. The water was absolutely scalding hot and couldn't be changed. Went back to reception and spoke to someone on the desk. He said "we have more than 400 rooms and are sold out. If every room is using the shower at the same time, it will affect how much hot water you have. Just let it run for a few minutes and it will change." Someone from maintenance came to have a look and recommended me moving to a different room. I moved rooms, and this one had loads of sockets and switches that didn't work. The main light switch wasn't actually connected to a light, the lamp on the table didn't work and the sockets behind the table didn't work either. Thankfully I had a lamp on the bedside table that worked.

Great cheap option for a hotel in the city centre. Perfect setting and drinks were very affordable. Rooms are very loud at night due to it's setting which is unavoidable but maybe some double glazing or draft excluding on windows may help with this

The hotel at first impressions was very grand but we where on the 5th floor .The room had no window to open which we had booked this but found too warm. plus we were woken up a few times with late night guests coming back who were very noisy . I felt the breakfast was minimal as there wasn’t any fruit to have with yogurt and I didn’t notice any crossants either . Overall ok for the price .

My experience at this hotel was terrible. First of all, it is a very old hotel, and it seems that nothing has been improved for decades. Everything was bad — the staff, rooms, bathrooms, elevators, and even the breakfast. The double bed was extremely small and uncomfortable. During the night, the room became very cold because the hotel turned off the heating system, which made sleeping very difficult. The only good thing about this hotel is its location. Other than that, I honestly wonder how Expedia continues to list this hotel on their platform. Overall, this hotel does not meet even basic expectations, and I would not recommend it to anyone

I didn't expect to use cold water and hot water taps separated in the 2025 They need to do some plumbing and start using mixers And changing bed sheets regularly One roll of toilet paper is not enough for 4 days!!!
