Absolute joy of a stay

An unexpected joy or a stay, despite the Manchester United link. Close to the tram line, with easy access to town, just over the water from media city, this is well placed and easily accessible. Staff were warm, friendly and professional. The hotel was well maintained and generously proportioned, with a decent sized room, a big shower and a window looking out over the locale. Large, comfortable bed. Telly with loads of sport channels. A fridge with Vimto and Space Raiders (complimentary!) and a bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, body butter - really nice stuff. Really an absolute joy of a stay and extremely reasonable price wise.

Comfortable, good location - a couple of miles from the city centre with reasonable parking nearby. Nice bar, not overpriced - and the snacks in the room was a nice touch.

The room was well decorated yet understated and clean with very helpful staff. I stayed in one of the King Rooms and the bed was very comfortable. The mini-fridge with the retro treats was a nice surprise. I also treated myself to 'Rashford's Rolls' in the Cafe and I enjoyed the coffee. I stayed at the Hotel Football as I was touring Old Trafford the next day and will stay at the Hotel Football next time I am in the area.

Great value and location

Business trip this time round and really close to where i needed to be the following day. Great priced room(£89). Very clean hotel. A great selection of nostalgic treats in the fridge that were free of charge. Food in the restaurant was really good too. Perhaps a little more expensive than what i was expecting but not enough to reflect my score.

An oasis from the storm.

I was not looking forwards to my stay. My health has taken a turn for the worst. I wanted to go to Old Trafford one last time. The staff were incredible. They made it a fantastic weekend. I even got a birthday card, which for someone my age was a good laugh 😃. A nice touch. The walk to my seat in Old Trafford was just minutes away and even though my legs done skip along 😂 like they used to do i managed to be in my seat in plenty of time. Its been the same seat for 25 years. As Arnie said "i'll be back".
