Location is great for exploring Manchester. The check in was good and efficient and all staff were extremely friendly. Room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was good, but could be better. I had the full English. Check out was easy. I paid £213 for a twin room the weekend before Christmas which was expensive but all hotels in Manchester were charging the same on the particular weekend. I would not pay that much usually as it was definitely toouch! Overall I would stay again as a solo traveller or with my partner.
The hotel is lovely and really spacious. The check in staff were brilliant however the rest of the service wasn’t brilliant. Unfortunately they seem more interested in chatting to their colleagues when people are waiting or just not acknowledging their customers, despite it not been busy.

Room size was good , but room poorly laid out and very dark. There was a chair and table, but you couldnt sit there to work as there was no light.
We were very disappointed in our stay. I booked a suite as our room. We arrived and got given our card we went up to the room and it wasn’t a suite. We then went back down to reception thinking it was an error. We was then told “sorry we don’t have any suites available”. The only reason we booked the hotel was to have the suite for our anniversary night. The fact we were not made aware of the error and just given a standard room is very disappointing. Then to make it worse those on reception put the blame on who I had booked it through and didn’t have any sympathy to the situation. We are very disappointed. All we have been offered is the refund price difference for the stay.
Lovely hotel and staff can’t do enough for you, everyone was smiling and happy which is always a good sign. Lovely decor and lounge area, coffee and breakfast were great. Location is perfect, The bedrooms are gorgeous and the bed is the biggest you’ll ever see!
