Central Manchester hotel
Convenient hotel, in heart of Piccadilly. Despite this the room was quiet making sleep easy (windows don't open of course!) reception staff were casual but basically polite and the security man on the door was very pleasant and helpful. Car parking was a ten minute walk away in an area that may worry some people but it was fine during the day. It's totally no frills but provided a comfortable sleep in a clean room. Good enough when all that's required is somewhere to sleep.
Hotel not serves free wifi have to purchase a wifi and did not equip telephone if have problems have to go down, and the room was not prepared after check in, no milk no body wash no hair dryer.

It was Ok.
It was fine. The only thing was I stayed two nights and expected someone to make the bed after the first night, but I ended up making it! Maybe there was a mix up, but hey, these things happen.
Easy to find & helpful staff - on a night that Manchester was full, with 2 major events going on. Only had a small double room, despite booking 8 MONTHS in advance for family room (2 adults & 2 children). Staff did all they could - friendly & helpful, but couldn't rectify as they had no other rooms free. Pop up bed in room was extremely hard (fortunately only needed one).
Very underrated hotel with everything at your doorstep.close to railway station and handy for the airport.staff were very good & helpful.Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Very good value. Clean and comfortable. We hade a room for 3 people which made it even better value. If you just need a bed for the night you couldn't get better value than this for a city centre.
This was booked for convenience for a conference but also for cost. I was concerned beforehand that it might be too noisy or that it might be too cheap with lower standards but was very pleasantly surprised on both counts. The room was at the back of the hotel on the second floor and was very quiet. The room was large with two single beds pushed together to make it look like a King size - they had been made up as separate beds so could not have been used as a king size. However, as I was on my own this was not an issue for me. The room was spacious and clean and had a large en-suite. I was impressed by the automated check in - very simple and efficient. The only staff I encountered were in the bar when I had a drink and they were polite, courteous and helpful in booking a taxi for me. I would definitely recommend it and would book again.
I stayed three days for a combination of business and short vacation. Busy area so lots to do. Friendly atmosphere and even though a few characters around at night, safe hotel with key card entry after daytime hours.
Room was for a disabled person, so could not use the shower standing up as you had to sit down which made it very awkard. This was despite the booking been made months in advance.
The Travelodge is well located in the heart of the city centre. For the type of hotel it is, I was satisfied.

The room was comfy but for the drainage of the shower. The bathroom is one of those were the shower is in the corner and not devided up except with curtains so the water can fill the whole bathroom floor. We couldn't even take more than five minutes in the shower. Everything else was great.
Lovely staff, very basic but very clean room, comfortable, located 5 mins from the train station. Nice surroundings lots to do. Key card entrance to the hotel after a certain time so very safe also. Perfect for a an overnight stay :)

Ideal hotel
We found hotel ideal as was 5min walk to most places we wanted to visit , shopping centre, pubs, clubs 5mib walk from train station to
We needed a hotel near to Piccadilly Station, so not far to walk with 2 small cases. We were nervous of some cheaper privately owned hotels, so thought at least a Travelodge is consistent. We were delighted with our corner family room, overlooking Piccadilly Gardens, the Christmas lights and wheel all looked lovely. Double cavity windows meant it was beautifully quiet too. Breakfast was good - great selection and only £7.65 each. Did the job as an excellent base to see family, eat out and see the Christmas market.
The unpleasant staff was horrible.
They cannot say sorry but What ??
My friend speak fairly well English but the woman said can you speak English I cannot understand you.
I wonder where they have learnt manners.
I've asked them to call a taxi for me and they did wow.
They asked me to wait and they will inform me. The phone rang a few times and after a good 10 minutes the reception woman said :"they are annoying me".
180£ for a room and I had to pay 10£ extra because they do not have a room to keep my suitcase.
No breakfast included
So thing twice before going there -
