The hotel was clean & quiet. Someone accessed my room at 4am with their card, I yelled out & they disappeared. As a single woman travelling I found the experience unnerving & did not feel safe for the rest of the morning. When I reported to the front desk on check out the receptionist seemed to be non plussed, said this happened alot with their customers. I am disappointed & disturbed that your card access is not exclusive to your room. Will not stay again.
The rooms were quiet. Pleasant surroundings. Helpful staff. Lots of family movies available. A big good-sized room. Tea & coffee making facilities. Overall, very good!
Great clean property walking distance to great pub with good meals just down the road. Room service dessert and room service staff were lovely. Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious. Reception staff and waitresses in the restaurant were polite. Manager in the restaurant was not very cheerful and came across as quite rude.
Nice surprise to get a spa bath and kitchenette in the room. Comfy beds and nicely furnished big room. Very quiet despite being on a major road and woke to the sounds of birds from the bush out the back of the room.
Spacious room, balcony overlooked bushland. Great hearing birdsong. Friendly kookaburra came to visit. Comfortable chairs in room. Hotel staff friendly and welcoming. Good meals in restaurant. Good parking. Merewether beach 5 mins away.
Well located and nice hotel. But ask not to be in room near stairs at ends of building. Very noisy as people use stairs, often very loud. Woken 5 times between 2am and 6 am. Only got a few hours sleep, should have used our swag or slept in car.

Large room with balcony overlooking gum trees… which was lovely.
Great location for my trip… and not to far from Newcastle cbd by car.
