Although the hotel staff on reception and in the restaurant were friendly, following reporting issues with our sink blocking and our tv not working neither were fixed during our stay.

This was a great venue for our needs. It was close to the facilities we needed to visit, with a good, clean, well presented environment, and a friendly supportive team running things. There could not be a better place in Newcastle, and possibly even in the country, for football fans wanting to catch the local team, and with the Magpies being mine, this was an additional boon for our stay.

Stunning Hotel room bit warm
Great hotel. Great location, very close to the station. Gorgeous bathroom, bed above average and loved having a microwave, kettle and fridge. Great to have an iron too. Rather warm unless you open the window and then you have traffic noise bleeding in.

The room wasnt very clean especially the bathroom. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The cutlery and mugs were blatantly dirty but was still put there as though they were clean. I had higher expectations fir this hotel. It was a little disappointing.

I stayed one night. The hotel lobby was very nice and staff very welcoming. The room was small but lovely decorated. Had a fridge, microwave,and ice bucket. Surprised the hotel did not have Aircon. Was provided with a fan. There was a lot of noise. Outside. Steve

We arrived early due to our train times but the staff were very welcoming and our room was ready so we could drop off our cases with ease. Whilst checking in it was explained to us about meal choices and facilities. We also asked about Metro travel as we were visiting other places during our stay. The staff were very informative and we managed it with ease. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel was chosen for its location for St James's Park. However It was expensive. The rooms were too hot even on cool setting had to open the windows as it was overlooking the street it was too noisy. Beds were small but comfy. The breakfast was nice enough. The bar in the evening was ok if you like sports. Its surrounded by TV's. However if you want to chat its loud. The parking is in a bit of a shady area of town. We had to walk quite a way with clothes in dress bags and heavy bags and cases. Presents and cards. So not ideal if you have allot to carry. There were quite a few shady characters around had I not been with a group of people I would have felt intimidated.
