Hotel is very close to train station and within walking distance of most things you’d like to see in Oxford. There’s no lift but staff will help you carry luggage up the stairs. Rooms are clean and bathrooms are big. It’s not luxury, but it’s clean, comfortable & close to everything. I’d definitely stay again.
Although right by the station which was convenient but had a room over the entrance of sainsbury and the main road. There was late night noise outside, and construction work early in the morning. Not hotels fault, but maybe double glazing may have helped.
Well appointed spot right near the train station. We’re kind enough to hold my bags until the room was ready, then carried them up the flights to my room. Room was simple, but comfortable. lovely chocolates left on the pillows. Sits above a neighborhood bar, so it was quite rowdy at night.
The beds were really comfortable and clean. Thick windows blocked out steer noise really well so quiet even though in busy area. Staff were really friendly and there was snacks in the room for free which was a nice touch given we were really jet lagged and up at 3:30AM:/ reasonably priced given the location would stay here again!
Convenient location - close to train station but not noticeably so; friendly, helpful staff; comfortable and clean. It suited our needs perfectly in travel for 3 adults in one room which is harder to find

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Great location, friendly staff and excellent service but lacks an elevator and this made the moving of luggage up and down the stairs extremely difficult. Also, the checkout time is too early and charges are applied for every additional hour.
This spot is a good value amongst the often expensive hotels in Oxford. The room was clean and updated. It is close to both the bus and train stations and just a short walk from the hustle and bustle of the city center.
The rooms and property were very clean. The lady at the front desk was informative and very friendly . We had a problem with the shower and the problem was addressed immediately. The room and bathroom was spacious. The restaurant had a great breakfast.
The room was very clean but very compact. There was no shower gel left in the container. There were no extras at all - not even a shower cap or washer. It was a very spartan stay!!! We had to cart our luggage up to the second floor by ourselves. The staff were friendly but tended to offer assistance after you had already done the job. The reception area was not at the front of the building so that meant they didn’t see you unless you went to them.
It was very good and the only issue that we had was not having the air conditioning working on our first night but staff got it fixed for the following two nights.
Room was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly. Hotel was an easy 8 min walk from the bus station, 5-10 min walk to places to eat & see, and 13 min walk to the car rental company. We would stay there again. The only thing that was odd was that the desk staff asked us not to take our room key off premises when we went out dining or sightseeing -- they wanted the room key left at the desk and picked-up upon our return, which was first time we have ever been asked this by a hotel, and it was not as convenient as being trusted to carry our key safely with us.
