Book Hostelling International San Mateo accommodation from NZ$205

The hotel had walking distance access to dining and the waterfront. There is a nice little bar on the ground floor. There is access to candy and limited snacks on the premises.It would be better to have some hot food ( burgers,wings,fries etc.) The overall experience was good and I would stay there again!

We checked in very late after a late arrival at the airport and were greeted warmly, and then very efficiently set up with our room keys and offered hot tea and hot chocolate. The room was clean and lovely and had a great view. We left our luggage in a locked room behind the front desk the following day and explored San Fran before heading back to the airport.

Great location, friendly staff, felt safe. Beds are extremely comfortable!

Centrally located at Union Square.

Clean and easy check-in and check-out. Would be nice if they had an area for guests to get drinking water.

Great value,a little off the beaten path,but not a major inconvenience.
