Terrible experience, rude staff, and no room as promised!
We booked this Hilton to rest during our layover in London, only to find out at 11pm, when we arrived to check in, that they didn’t have a room for us. Despite our check-in time being 3pm, we were never notified of this issue beforehand. Instead, we were told on the spot that they were booking us into another hotel – a much cheaper, lower-quality hotel that cost half the price. To make matters worse, they refused to refund the difference.
Throughout the conversation, the staff were incredibly rude, dismissive, and mostly ignored us. They didn’t answer our questions and simply offered to cancel our reservation with an attitude, as if that was the solution to their mistake.
This was an awful experience, and I will never stay at this hotel again.
