The location of this hotel is excellent, but unfortunately the property is very outdated. The lifts are unreliable, and the rooms and bathrooms are in need of refurbishment. Our TV wasn’t working during our stay, and there was no maintenance staff available on the weekend to fix it. For a hotel of this standard, having maintenance support available at all times should be expected.

Clean, confortable spacious room but appearance of whole hotel a bit tired. Breakfast resturant/ bar not always open. I had read reviews about noise but once garbage collection was done at 10pm, it was quiet. Excellent location

Clean room with comfy bed although it lacked a bit of visual appeal as did the hotel generally. I had read reviews complaining about noise but once the dustmen left at 10pm it was very quiet. In house bar and breakfast resturant not always open but due to the superb location that really did not matter

Great hotel and area around. Love the location. A couple of things that needed improvement: Difficult to do laundry. They only take Australian coins so its not handy. The restaurant has unusual hours so its not convenient to eat at it. The room has a hot water pot to heat to make coffee. However there is no nearby outlet to plug it in so you either need to put the water pot on the floor or carry it to the workdesk or bathroom. Otherwise all was good. I would stay here again

The staff was very friendly. Our first night the room next to us was very loud (even after repeated requests from hotel staff to be quiet at 12:30 am). The next day we were not only moved but received a much larger room that was very quiet. Very considerate staff. The location of the hotel can’t be beat!

Close to the centre and central Quay for transport, a few eating places nearby, but they finish serving early for us. Lovely view of the opera house on a sunny day. Hotel a bit dated (mainly corridor carpets) room good size but plain, could do with some pictures on the wall.

The hotel was centrally located and we couldnt have been more happier. Keith at the front desk was amazing and the sweetest girl. We called the reception desk because our blankets were stained and she came to change them. Apparently housekeeping was gone for the day. The hotel could use a deep cleaning, especially the bathrooms. And the linens need to be changed and checked before making the bed. I would stay again. Its a nice hotel and everyine was kind to us. Great location and centrally located.
