Room had an awful smell, with stains all over the carpet. Bathroom was in poor condition with previous occupants hair on the floor. Definitely an average stay for a $500 per night room.

I was concerned regarding the cleanliness of our room , with me wiping brown stuff off the desk of room 725 on arrival.we also noted the level of mould in the bathroom and that the tub was yellow ( we think with cleaning products that had been splashed around ) Staff did offer a change of room which we declined but wish we had when we discovered on our last night of the first part of our stay ,the doona had brown stains . The area the hotel is in is fantastic ,staff where helpful ,but they need to go a lot better with cleaning . When we came back to the second part of our stay ina different room ,732 , the level of mould was still present . I have no knowledge of an upgrade . Would I stay again ? Not so sure . Was it convenient, yes it was.

The property was very close to the cruise terminal and within walking distance of many restaurants and the quay.

The check in was great. The staff member that looked after us was just brilliant (Aaron). However, that's as good as it got. The breakfast was just awful, staff uncaring & lazy. Then on checkout the girl tried charging us for the late check out & full price for breakfast even though we had a dining credit. Just really poor.

Property was really accessible to transportation-whether to and from the airport, cruise ships, water taxis, ferries and other mode of travel like trains! We booked this for the convenience of having to be at the port to board the Carnival Splendor and this did not disappoint! Propery was clean, staff was excellent and amenities suffice the need we needed! Will definitely be booking this hotel in the future!
