We enjoyed our stay here and found it very conveniently located to get around various districts of Tokyo by foot and subway. The included bathhouse is such a nice amenity! Our room was small but charming and with plenty of space for what we needed. They replenished amenities daily and offered a cleaning during our 4 night stay. Optional to include breakfast or massages/spa treatments during your stay for additional fee.

Loved this hotel! Highly recommend. Looks very new and very well maintained. Staff was super nice and helpful. Excellent maximization of space in rooms. One block from the subway. Free Starbucks pods in room. Fantastic onsen. I had a lovely view of Hie shrine from my room. The location is quiet and not crowded because it's near government buildings.

This hotel was a great choice to explore Tokyo. Its within 3 min walk to the Kokkai-gijidomae metro station exit 5 which made the city very accessible. Our other favorite parts of this hotel were the onsen which we used every night to rest and relax after a day of walking and exploring. And the breakfast had a great selection of delicious Japanese food and drinks and some Western options too (egg, bacon, potatoes, yogurt, granola, fruit, breads). We loved our stay!

Excellent location- just a minutes walk to two different metro exits/lines, makes getting around super convenient and very easy to find. About two-three blocks away is Akasaka area with a mini-Harry Potter themed area and about a million restaurant and dining options & shopping. The rooms are quite small, but a lot of detail went in to making it feel welcoming like a chandelier, smart TV, and space under the bed for your suitcase. Breakfast buffet was plentiful with attentive staff. The only downside is that the onsen onsite does not allow tattoos and that would’ve been nice to know as that’s a primary reason we chose this hotel prior to booking. However, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again, just perhaps with a suite or larger room.

This was my first time staying in a hotel from the Apa chain and I must say I was absolutely impressed by the service. The room is small (the Japan standard) and it is cleaned every 3 nights, however the staff will hang a bag at your door everyday with daily necessities. What I loved is that is located in the Akasaka neighborhood which is quiet, safe and away from the overwhelming crowds. There’s a metro station a few meters from the hotel. Also for a fee, they can forward your luggage to your next destination which is convenient since it enables you to move freely from city to city.

The rooms were small as they are with APA but clean and sufficient. The subway station was a 5mins walk. Not a lot happening in that area in terms of entertainment but very clean,quiet and safe.

APA hotel - a safe, comfortable & reliable choice
We loved the APA hotel. I was skeptical as this was my first time in Japan and I had no clue where to start with accommodations. The pictures did not do the building justice, it was modern, elegant, clean. Staff was very friendly and spoke English. Room was very small but comfortable, the interactive hotel TV was a neat touch, and the onsen was one of the best I’ve been in - clean, large, indoor/outdoor, and even with these little single person outdoor hot baths. There was also a WiFi rental box in the hotel which was useful. Breakfast was consistently good every morning, offering a good mix of traditional Japanese options and more western style buffet.
