This is a no frills small, but clean hotel. The room had everything I needed as a solo traveler. It was nice they included a dehumidifier. The power is done by card key, so unfortunately the AC won’t run when you leave the room. AC is effective otherwise. While the hotel is near Kyobashi station, it originally advertised it was closer to Tokyo station when in actuality it’s a 15 min walk. There is a younger man with black circular glasses who works the front desk weekday mornings who clearly doesn’t want to be there. Surprisingly terrible service over a few exchanges. The worst was when I asked if he could help me call the luggage delivery company to make a small change to my reservation for my day of checkout. I was told “it was not their reservation so it’s nothing they can get involved with.” When I explained my phone only had data support, he told me “that I should use the phone around the corner in the back.” I was surprised he wouldn’t make the phone call since he recommended the day before I use this company, but more appalled at the lack of care and the fact he couldn’t be bothered to explain it was a pay phone, the cost, and how to dial the number. I had to go back and ask after taking a look myself. Disappointing end to the stay.

Though room a little small but near Tokyo Station, Ginza, Yaesu, Kyobashi. Convenient to get around. Comes with free breakfast. Washer doesn’t come with drying function. Needs to put in separate dryer. Provides necessary toiletries like cleansing oil, facial wash, toner, body moisturiser. Even a hair curling iron.

This hotel was perfect so exploring all of Tokyo. The only disappointment was the “free” breakfast that was included. The menu was the same as their lunch menu. Not a fan of chicken and rice for breakfast. Wish there had been more than 3 meal options as none of them were appealing for 7 in the morning. I ended up buying food at the nearby 7eleven. Otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel is really great-within walking distance from the Tokyo Station. Complimentary things such as comb, lotion, sunscreen...available at 2nd floor; drinkable water. Great toilet and bathtub. Offers bathrobe and slippers. Affordable Japanese breakfast-authentic, healthy, and tasty! Free TV. Negative: the room we stayed in is a bit small according to U.S. standard. Bed is small, too for 2 people.

This is my third Sotetsu Fresa Inn (last one I stayed in was Osaka) and i like the chain and think they are good value. The breakfast in this one was more limited and not as good as the others.
