Upper West Side winery accommodation

Great location and service. Rustic room.

As other reviewers have stated, the property is old and a bit shabby. It is clean, however, and the beds are very comfortable! The staff is also very friendly and helpful. It is very convenient to the subway, and walkable to lots of great restaurants, museums, and Central Park. I would stay there again.

First night stayed in a queen room that was quite dark. Was kindly upgraded to a king room that was perfect.

The bartender was excellent.

The Empire Hotel was so very convenient, beautiful, festive, welcoming, and excellent service. Would highly recommend for your next trip!

Staff were great! Rooms and shared places were clean. Definitely would recommend. A few things I learned...they provide a towel but i wish i had packed a wash rag. The room pictures are accurate, but i still found them smaller than i had anticipated. And there isnt an elevator so make sure your bag is light enough to carry up a few flights!
