I like the everything was clean and organised. I didn't like the spa pool and pool area be in front the restaurant area. Luck the hotel wasn't busy but if was busy you don't have privacy to get in the spa pool.

The staff were very helpful.The property is very old fashioned but well maintained. The only negative is that there is a steep staircase which isn’t under cover to get to the rooms.

We were shocked when we turned up to this place having booked it last minute and unfortunately it was non-refundable. I can see why, we walked straight out, probably others do the same. The lady behind the counter was pleasant enough, that was all I can say positive really. Even just entering the property it is very uninviting. The first thing we saw on arriving at the hotel was the pokies/gaming area right beside the reception! Didn't see anything about that in the listing. Desperate people playing pokies next door with iron bars on the windows between the pokies and reception and multiple secutity cameras watching that area. The outside of the hotel was not looking good, way more rundown than all the ohotos online would show. By the state of some of the cars in the carpark and a couple of the people roaming around I suspect this place is being used for emergncy accom too, I might be wrong. The area in the imediate vicinity of the hotel was a mess with rubbish on the roadside outside multiple properties. It was a reallly rough area, not the hotel's fault but something for travellers to be wary of. I've stayed in dodgy hotels in Central America with arme dguards and I was more nervous about this place. Didn't even see the rooms, we just left and wrote of the full cost of the room that we had paid to Wotif. Probably teach me a lesson for not reading the bad reviews before booking. I found the listing to be quite misleading so be very aware

Great location, friendly staff, very clean. There was limited parking and it was quite a trek to carry our bags to our room. It's quite popular and there were a lot of visitors socialising in the rooms next door, however they were considerate and not too noisy. Bed was comfortable and we had an uninterrupted sleep.

Although room is well serviced daily, its size is small, toilet does not have any hooks, car park seems to be packed all the time and ground tiles are not even. The room is not well sound proof. So sound sleepers will definitely have problems.
