I thought the price for the airport shuttle was outrageous.

Hotel staff was organized and polite. Service was quick! Pool was clean and property was well maintained. Room was clean and sheets were fresh. Very impressed with my stay. Will recommend

My wife & I have always liked the special design of the Embassy Suites Hotels, now owned by Hilton. These type of hotels have the open area in the middle between all the rooms. This specific hotel has a shared common space, that’s a tropical oasis theme, with native plants & waterfalls that surround several sitting areas. This is where a hosted happy hour & morning buffet breakfast takes place daily. As a guest, you receive two complimentary drinks at the daily happy hour. The restaurant on site has reasonable prices, but limited options. The hotel also has a pool & tropical Koi pond. There was one water fall not functioning, so almost perfect. There’s no separate vending, but a store where you can get drinks, gifts, etc. Also had a small but descent gym, but we didn’t workout. Also had shuttle service sign-up/pick-up to take you to your cruise ship, which was $12.00 dollars per person at the time of our stay. The room we had was clean, design updated & well kept. If we’re ever back in the Ft. Lauderdale area again, we would definitely consider staying at this special property.

Staff were friendly, check in went well. Breakfast could have been better, little omelettes were not very warm and actually kind of boring, plus turkey sausage patty was terrible. Maybe scrambled eggs and bacon might have been better. Possibly a bagel cutter could be handy, and soft butter patties rather than frozen ones. The regular spicy sausages were nice, lots of bread choices, as well as drinks and couple yogurt choices. I felt for the cost of the hotel, this could have been better.
