I recently stayed at the Mantra and had an excellent experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze. Despite being a budget option, the motel did not compromise on quality or service. The location was convenient, close to local attractions and dining options. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for affordable yet comfortable accommodations.

unfortunately, my experience was disappointing overall. The cleanliness of the property was far below standard. The carpets were visibly dirty, the corridors had an unpleasant smell, and the blinds in the bedroom were dusty and unkempt. The towels and bedding were of poor quality, which added to the discomfort. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, the entire property felt outdated and in need of a refresh. The location is convenient, being very close to the train station, and there’s decent shopping nearby, but these positives were not enough to make up for the poor condition of the hotel. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which was a highlight. However, the checkout time of 10:00 AM felt unnecessarily early. A later time, such as 11:00 AM, would have been much more convenient. Overall, while the staff were pleasant and the location was practical, the lack of cleanliness and outdated facilities made for an uncomfortable stay. I would not recommend staying here unless improvements are made.

The 1 bedroom apartment we stayed inhad a very loud fan/motor noise humming all night, continuously. Very hard to sleep with the noise. The light in the bathroom was dismal, very dark. A number of the light fittings did not work. Very average place.

Maintenace lodge No one shows up or fixes
Double charged for carparking. Charged day in and then charged again on day left. When I called up and complained, they identified and confirmed that incorrectly charged but said 2 weeks to get refund. That is unacceptable. They instant charge at check-in, can instant reverse or at minimum next day deposit, no excuses. I stayed there a week, had to lodge many days in a row issues, did not get fixed. There lots of things broken TV unwatchable (TV pixel tube had gone - the screen was a mush of nothing), no plug for kitchen sink to wash dishes and there is no dishwasher, no scrubber sponge for dishes (ask for one, housekeeper never delivered), light bulbs out in bathroom it was dark. Call reception let know issues, no one picks up. Multiple days asking, no one arrives or sorts out, so stopped asking.

The pool area was terrible. Water was cold. They said jacuzzi will get warm once you switched on. I did twice and yet it remained cold... Secondly during booking it was not mentioned for the deposit to be paid. They take heavy 200 deposit and then while check out they said end of the day it will be released. Bad service
