Great location
The location of this hotel is a 2-3 minute walk to Shinagawa station. We were visiting Japan for the first time and it was super convenient to stay near the Yamanote train line. It takes you to all the hot spots. Rooms were tiny but clean. Great place for kids. Food options are minimal but the train station has many options.

Check in process is a horrible experience. There's usually nobody at registration and you have to do the self check-in kiosk. Up on doing that you are not giving instruction of which of the four Towers your room is in. After asking several staff, you realize most of them have zero English ability.

Many things advertised as on the property are not actually on the property and are actually near by attractions. The “children’s play area” that is advertised was particularly annoying as it is actually a picture of a ride that you have to pay for that has a requirement of over 120cm. I booked this hotel thinking my 117 cm son would have a pirate ship themed play area, instead he watched his brother ride a ride that costed extra money inside a separate aquarium which also costed extra money granted it was adjacent to the hotel and some how tied to the hotel. Breakfast Buffet was also over priced compared to every other hotel I stayed at in my 18 day visit to Japan. Room was outdated had stains and an unpleasant smell luckily they provided an air purifier and scented linen spray which was helpful. Staff was pleasant and hard working.

The bathroom smells like sewer as I walked in , gets worse when water is running or toilet is flushed. Also, bathroom floor is a step up of about 6” so must remember that you must step down to re-enter bedroom area. Room is very small so 2 people with 2 suitcases takes up all floor and table space so difficult to get around . The good, close proximity to train station and shopping.

The hotel is on a large complex with bowling alley, swimming pool etc although all are chargeable and expensive, although the rooms are affordable. The rooms themselves are relatively spacious for Tokyo, a little dated but comfortable, except the pillows on the bed are very small and thin.

This hotel is too basic has no bilingual signs. We ate at both their restaurants which I believe are independently run and not part of the hotel. Japanese restaurant was not value for money and neither was the Chinese one. Food in the Chinese restaurant was mediocre to say the least and when we ordered a soup we weren’t told that the bowl wud come as big as a ramen bowl because the server who took the order said it’s one per person. The concept of Chinese restaurant where we share food is completely lost here and we were surprised since we normally share several dishes and a soup ! Their morning breakfast area feels like you’re in a school cafeteria. It’s definitely not something we’re used to having just stayed at the Hyatt Yokohama where everything was amazing and classy. For what we paid here - which technically is similar to the Hyatt - disappointing is the first word I’d use. HOWEVER there was one huge consolation with the Prince group. When we took the shuttle to Sakura prince to get our narita express bus - we realized we should have stayed at the Sakura prince instead ! YES it cost more but it’s a gorgeous property. Staff were so helpful there while we waited for our transfer.

Great hotel for the price and location, across the street from Shinagawa train station, from there you can go anywhere by train. Airport limousine drops off at hotel from Narita airport. Breakfast option is a must, I have stayed at many other international chain hotels in Tokyo, this just as good for less than half the price.

Great location, upscale hotel at less than half the price of international chain hotels. Across street from Shinagawa Train station, you can go anywhere by train from Shinagawa Station. Airport limousine drops off at hotel. The breakfast option is awesome for the price. There are three hotel towers at the Shinagawa Prince hotel and all 3 are connected to the same lobby. Have stayed at other hotels in other districts of Tokyo and this hotel is my favorite. Quick train ride to any other district train station.

The location is convenient, it's about 5 mins to the station. The check-in is 3pm which is quite late and check-out timing is at 11am which is too early! Didn't realised the booking was in the Annex building which is so old. Though room size is decent but the furnishing is dated. The location of the TV is at a very awakard direction which make watching programme very uncomfortable.
