I am surprised to find that there is only one usable plug within the hotel room, and the second one is in the bathroom (which I am not inclined to use for charging my phone). Also, the piping system may be old, I can smell the drains from just walking into the room.

The general hotel service is good and the staffs( front desk, reception and staffs supporting check-in)were all very kind and helpful. I booked two rooms for me and my family via Hotels.com. Somehow check-in was not accepted ( I guess there was system error from Hotels. com or between Hotel.com and the hotel. The three hotel staffs had to support more than 40 minutes to solve the error( the machine didn’t accept the reservation numbers)Anyway, it was the first for last 15 years of using this app. I booked one night - one smoking room and the other is for three nights - non-smoking room. The odor of smoking room was terrible. I almost couldn’t breathe and wore a mask while I was sleeping. The bathroom was not properly cleaned and smelled bad. Non- smoking room is clean . ( my family stay two more nights)

Hotel was right next to the Shinagawa train station which is a major interchange with several lines passing through. This made getting around Tokyo very convenient. Staff were extremely helpful.

Very crowded and long lines for baggage storage. Rooms are clean and ample, but not for lounging, etc. Convenient location across from Shinagawa Station, though the construction @ Wing Takanawa makes for a more congested area that’s already busy.

This was over priced, rooms looked nothing like the internet and were old and way too small for 3 people. Definitely not value for money- restaurants also way over priced for dated venues and average food. I would not recommend this hotel.
