Compare Hotels with Parking in Virginia City Historic District

We’ve been to The Peppermill through the years; the property has kept improving its ambiance & making new changes that made our last visit the best. Next time I would like a double sink & the toilet in its own space if possible. The steamed shower was excellent! The bed was nicely assembled with many firm pillows; the updated new modern furniture was simple & elegant.

Stayed the evening for a concert. Love this property— everything was great. Super easy and fast check in. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The elevator gave me a little trouble because you have to use your room for it to move… but I made it work. Lots of dining options. Plenty of parking. Everything I needed was right on site. I would stay here in the future without hesitation.

I enjoyed the location of it all and it was a lovely Latin heritage festival going on that was really nice...many places to eat and play

This was our first time visiting the J Resort and from the minute we entered the beautiful newly remodeled casino to the time that we checked out 3 days later we could not think of one negative comment. The staff is amazing. We have been to many many casinos and the staff at the J Resort is without doubt the most helpful, kind and friendly staff that we have ever and we mean ever met. The buffet was excellent. The one suggestion that we would make on the buffet is NOT to overcook the chicken wings and chicken entrees. Janet and Miguel (servers) were top notch and they are assets to the J family. Kudos to them. The cashiers were also awesome. We hope that a CASINO HOST WILL CALL OR TEXT US AND make us an OFFER ON OUR NEXT VISIT. We are thinking about Christmas time for our second visit.
