Very close to the capital theatre, china town and the southern end of darling harbour. our only issue was that the room we occupied room 306 the toilet was obstructed by a small part of a wall and you couldn't sit square onto the toiler

Nice place but paid a premium (5x standard rate) on NYE for a room and no bar of dinner facilities open. Meal voucher or bottle of wine would have gone a long way. Entrance is weird and smells awful, not very inviting.

Fantastic hotel right in the middle of the city! I was extremely happy staying here and could pop outside at any time and I’d have a plethora of food options! Highly recommended if you want a well priced conveniently located hotel in the CBD! The rooms were beautiful too!

It was the first time staying at the Capital Hotel. I found the accommodation was very well suited. Tram stop just outside and in the inhouse amenities were fine. We had brekky in tbe Hotel which offered a good selection

Rooms on Reception level close to Lift are a bit noisy at night, to avoid, otherwise good hotel and room design and breakfast and very clean. second time here and will come back.

Great customer service from all the reception staff. Very friendly and always ready to support us when we need their help. The location is also very convenient with good transportation and dinning access.

Ok, but not as good as it could be.
This hotel is ok. In my opinion a bit overpriced for what it delivers. Yes the 1 lift is slow, but I wanting a hurry. The feather pillow options were nice, and the proper king sized bed was appreciated. The room was simple, surprised there were no tissues. However, the TV situation was frustrating. Chromecast didn’t work and reception staff couldn’t resolve the issue. Our tv also switched off automatically after 5 mins. Became that frustrating we had to leave the hotel. The afternoon shift were amazing. The lady changed a setting and resolved it. The water pressure in the shower was light and disappointing, with not enough pressure for the full effect of a rain shower showerhead. Overall it was ok, but better options to explore at this price point
