Fantastic hotel right in the middle of the city! I was extremely happy staying here and could pop outside at any time and I’d have a plethora of food options! Highly recommended if you want a well priced conveniently located hotel in the CBD! The rooms were beautiful too!

Staff were all friendly. Room was clean and modern. Always great to have a fridge in the room and strong AirCon. Great location for public transport or easy access on food to a lot of the popular sights.

The property has a security entry via card or intercom only, which seems unusual at first, but is excellent for privacy. The location is unrivalled, right next to the beautiful Capitol Theatre, light rail, and the culinary delights of Thaitown. Whilst an electronic check-in system is in use at reception, staff take you through it, anyway, and it's all quite rapid. The staff in this establishment are particularly good. They remember me and that's always very nice. The rooms are not large, but they are immaculately clean and modern. It's my go-to hotel in this area, and I'm familiar with many of the hotels. Parking is directly next door, and discounted for hotel customers, so very convenient. If you're after comfort and reliability at a generally competitive price for this area, The Capitol will meet your expectations and guests can rest assured of the same experience I always have.

Very small room, long and narrow. I booked a king size but feel that to describe the room as king sized is a real stretch. Tiny bathroom. No wardrobe, just hooks on the walls. Very clean, and quiet and convenient to everything including trams and parking facilities. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Loved the location. Room was nice, but quite small. Pillows were too big, so expect a sore neck in the morning. Only downside was that we could hear guests when they were coming in late and slamming doors. Breakfast was well stocked and the barista coffee was spot on.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable to stay in. The room with a king-size bed felt a bit small for two people, but if your main focus is sightseeing and you won't be spending much time in the room, it shouldn't be an issue. It was a bit inconvenient that the mugs and glasses were not replaced daily unless requested, but it wasn’t a significant problem.

Building is very dark and funky, sometimes to the point that it is hard to see and hard to move around. At checkout, around the lifts which is a small area there are large groups of people with their suitcases wanting to get into the very slow lift, causing congestion at that point and for those wanting to get to the very small reception space. It clears up after check out time, and it will be very hard to rearrange the infrastructure of the place, but it is not a good design aspect of the place.

Staff were so helpful in suggestions on where to go and what to see. I liked the 10$credit for housekeeping choice. We may have received upgrade and VIP benefits and were not aware of it, however, we were let in a room early with no waiting. Breakfast a bit pricey for what was offered. Assume downstairs under renovations to accommodate concierge on main level which would be better. Overall, great location and service for price. Would be nice to have a restaurant in the hotel too.

It as a great experience. Room was excellent and service by reception staff was amazing. Location was excellent. Only issue was that when our room was cleaned each day, the cups and glasses were not cleaned or replaced, and tea and coffee not replenished.

The cleaner obviously did the job in a rush as there's stains and hair on the towels and sheets when I got there. Thankfully the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall a good experience except for a bit pricey.
