Excellent hotel in an excellent location. Highly recommend.

Mitre House is one block from Paddington Station so a great location for exploring London for our week stay. The reception staff were wonderful.... very efficient , welcoming and happy to give information. The building is full of character and well maintained for an older building. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Hot English breakfast was included.

During our 8 day stay we received the greatest service out of any hotel in London that we have stayed at. From walking in to leaving was perfect. The concierge Paddy was so helpful he helped like he knew us personally. The door man Max did his job exceptionally. All in all the staff made our stay magnificent we will definitely be going back. I will gladly recommend this hotel to my friends.

A rough start at check in, as the previous occupants had not checked out and the room wasn’t ready. It looks good on paper, letting you stay a full 24 hours but in practice it doesn’t always work out. There’s a reason the whole hotel industry has several hours between check out and new check ins. That being said, the staff went above and beyond getting us in our room with a complimentary gift basket of snacks and drinks for our inconvenience. The live entertainment in the lobby/lounge was wonderful. The singer was very talented and not too loud for the limited space.

Although it seems to be getting progressively more expensive with each season, the Zedwell Piccadilly is still our go-to stay when we're in London. You can't beat the location and the contactless check-in (scan the QR code and magnetize your own key card at the kiosk) fits right in with the screen-based lifestyle we all live these days. Given the amenities, there is a limit as to how much a Cocoon room (with transparent bathroom walls) is worth, but for now, it still works!
