Just a layover for the night before continued on west from Hawaii. The lady, Suzanne, who answered the phone for the free shuttle service was extremely helpful, both shuttle drivers were great. Another Suzanne at the front desk was lovely. Bartender gave great service and they all reccomended a quick walk to a sushi place that was very reasonable and great quality. Super close to Honolulu airport and a great and convenient place to spend a night during your travels.

Poor communication with the front desk staffs… they won’t tell you all charges likes parking 50/day and surcharge of ~30/day until the last second you pay the bills. When I asked to explained every cost (it’s part of the routine isn’t it?), her terrible attitude really impressed me.

The shuttle from airport is tricky. You have to call for instructions but I had problems with connections. It would be nice to be told to go across the road to use curtesy phone. Also the white van had best western instead of airport Honolulu. We waited a long time..frustrating when tired.
