I stayed in this property 3 times so far. Like always, the rooms and property is clean. No noise. This time one good thing I observed-that is no smoke smell inside the property. That’s a great initiative if something has been done. This time , reception person was not very friendly, she is in hurry to complete the standard information sharing. Anyway, this is a hidden gem if someone wants to visit Death Valley without spending much.

If you're looking for a good balance of price and quality, this hotel is a solid option. It’s not fancy or modern, and it could definitely use some repairs, but it provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. Most importantly, it’s clean. We stayed for 4nights, and each day, our room was cleaned, the towels were changed, and the shampoo and shower gel were refilled. The room and bathroom were both spotless. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, and I genuinely enjoyed the food there. If you’re into gambling, you’ll be happy to know that drinks are free while you play. The hotel also has a pool, although we didn’t use it since the weather was too cold for swimming. One charming feature is the presence of animals: a bull, 2donkeys, a goat, and a sheep, which added a bit of character to the property. There’s also free Wi-Fi in the rooms, free parking, and a gas station nearby with cheaper prices compared to the surrounding area. Other useful amenities include a laundry room and a convenience store on-site. While the hotel decor is kitschy, it has its own charm. One downside for non-smokers is that the lobby smells like smoke since the casino is in the same area. However, the guest rooms are non-smoking, so it wasn’t an issue for us. The only real inconvenience was 1night when a drunk guest triggered the fire alarm. The alarm woke everyone up, and for the rest of the night, it beeped every 20minutes, making it hard to sleep.

It’s a must stay if you are in the area. They have everything you need or want on property. Good food at the restaurant, fun atmosphere, bar, gas station, nice casino with friendly staff (especially the night auditor). Will return one day if close by.

Longstreet Hotel and casino
Longstreet hotel and casino is a fun quirky establishment where you can stay in comfort and explore Death Valley. The owner Jim Marsh is a History buff and named the property after an early local resident and has collected many artifacts from the time and displayed them here. There's also a pond with many animals and sculptures.

Fan in the bathroom was the loudest I've ever heard. Like a SpaceX launch. And the heater/air conditioner was also very loud. its starts and stops woke us up over and over.
