Stayed here quite a few times over the years, when visiting Benalla. Great place to stay, handy to where we need to go but could do with a bit of an update. Beds were hard, and pillows needed replacing. Overall not too bad just needs a spruce up.

When we arrived on the Sunday we had booked ( 19/5/24), we had hoped to collect the key at 12 noon so as to be sure we had access in the evening. The office was closed with a note on the door stating that it would not be open that day & if there was a problem to call either of two listed numbers.Neither number responded so we just had to hope there would be someone there at 8pm when we arrived. Fortunately staff were in attendance at that time. Tea,coffee, milk and biscuits were only minimally supplied.Certainly room for improvement in that area but the absence of staff and the closed office on arrival was very disappointing and inconvenient.
