Wailea Ekolu #501 is an ocean view 2 bedroom, 2 bath ground floor unit with air conditioning throughout, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, 3 flat screen TVs, wireless Internet, and telephone with free long distance calls to the US mainland and Canada. In the master bedroom is a brand new king bed with memory foam mattress and new linens, A/C, ceiling fan, flat screen TV, and full bathroom. Bedroom 2 brand new twin beds (convertible to king upon request) with memory foam mattress topper, A/C, ceiling fan, and flat screen TV. There is a/c in the living room, a ceiling fan, flat screen TV, and Blu-ray / DVD player. Also enjoy meals on the ocean view lanai! For outdoor activities, Wailea Ekolu #501 is equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, and snorkel gear. BBQ grills are not allowed on individual unit lanais in compliance with fire code restrictions. Community grilling stations are available. Sleeps 6.

The unit is great, only downside. One of the rooms was facing the street and the noise was really uncomfortable ! Really hard to get a good night sleep with that noise. It’s unfortunate cause the location is actually great with a fantastic view of the the ocean.

This location is amazing with gorgeous views! From the property You can catch a glimpse of Whales having fun in the ocean waves & can walk to coffee/food & fabulous shopping. Would stay again love Maui!

This unit is in beautiful Wailea, on the prestine grounds of Wailea Ekolu Village. The unit is equipped with all the essentials, so it makes for a carefree trip. The pool and barbeque were a nice bonus!

The condo was lovely, great view and very comfortable. Walking distance to the beach, so we didn't need a car! The traffic noise from the nearby road was a surprise, especially at the beginning and end of the day. There was also construction happening during the week at a nearby condo with lots of tile cutting/saws (not sure how long that will be going on).

Amazing and breathtaking view that has to be seen in person to truly appreciate! The unit is simply, with some age, but clearly upgraded in many areas with some fixtures and amenities as of late. We had a few delayed responses to some questions during the stay and I never got a response about the option to mail some clothing items left behind accidentally (I asked if I could pay for the shipping). Nonetheless, the place worked well for two adults (one in each room). The beach gear, insect repellant and cleaning/laundry supplies were an added bonus (whether from the owner or other guests paying it forward). - Mahalo Fonz

The property was very clean and the pool on site was very warm and wonderful for our two little ones. Being near the shops was so convenient for good food and coffee and the first floor access was super nice since we have the kiddos as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Whenever we travel to Maui, we always stay at Wailea Ekolu Village due to its close proximity to beaches, resorts, restaurants and shopping. Though this unit may not be the most updated it was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed with all the amenities you will need during your stay. Not to mention, the view is phenomenal. There was a little bit of road noise, especially in the second bedroom, but otherwise was very quite and private. Overall we felt this unit was a great value and would definitely stay there again.

Our group consisted of two couples who each had their own suite, and both areas were comfortable and well appointed. The ice maker didn't work, and ice made in trays had a terrible taste--heavy on chlorine; so bottled water was necessary, A better whole-condo water filter would be well worth the expense. The condo has a nice view of the ocean, but is a long walk to the beach.

It has an ocean view, but not as close as I'd like. Everything you need for the ocean, but didn't want to bring with you, such as beach chairs, boogy boards, umbrellas, snorkeling stuff, etc. The kitchen is really well equipped. We had a wonderful time. The only thing we would have liked, but couldn't find were binnoculars. It would have been helpful to have instructions for the various remotes, i.e., set up radio, movies, tv, etc.

Great convenient location a block from the Wailea mall, 2 blocks to the beach, and a few miles from Kihei. Plenty of room, nice kitchen and excellent view. We could see the whales from the back patio.
