The girl working in the mornings was a total sweetheart, the guy working night shifts though made it very apparent he hated his job. Not to say that I blame him, I’m sure the crowd sucks, but geez, don’t need to take it out on other people. The room was incredibly loud, we heard our upstairs neighbor pacing all morning it was ridiculous how loud and squeaky the rooms are. Just make the expense and book somewhere a bit nicer. There’s no microwave or mini fridge in your room and it’s a tiny space. The floors left my feet black walking from the bed to the bathroom and back… like how difficult is it to mop a floor.. takes 5 minutes. Overall, I reckon it gets the job done, but I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Overall I had a good stay! The bed was comfortable and the room had everything needed, BUT here are a few things to be on the lookout for: The Room: I plugged my electronics in to charge overnight into the outlet on the wall closest to the bed. I flipped the light switch off and went to sleep. Unfortunately, that light switch turned off all power on that wall - including the outlets my phone was plugged into. I woke up to a dead cell phone. Check-in: Check-in was confusing. I used the self check-in kiosk with no issues, but then had to stand in line at what seemed to be the bar cashier to have someone give me a room key and parking pass. I waited for the agent to check-in the couple that had just walked in. It would have been faster/easier to have the agent check me in directly if self check-in still requires assistance. Parking: Sigh. I had read the reviews so I confirmed there WAS parking available for hotel guests. The agent gestured towards the lot across the street. Unfortunately, after coming back from dinner...that lot was completely full. I drove around it 3 times and eventually parked a block away on the street and had a restless night crossing my fingers I wouldnt get towed. I mentioned the full lot at checkout the next morning and it was THEN I was informed of an "overflow lot". I still have no idea where this lot is or why the original agent didnt mention it or why Downtowner doesn't hand out something with all of the parking information and locations.

The Hotel is cute. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and decent size. They have a bar. Everything near by is walking distance. They have free parking across from the hotel. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

The customer service was great we stayed during the 4th of july weekend. Just some issues with the room (electrical, smell) and parking... but we would love to see this establishment thrive as it is right around the corner from the fun

Was okay until I saw two roaches
My friend and I stayed here one night. She arrived in the afternoon and I arrived late night. Pros: cheaper than other hotels, close to Fremont Street which has a lot to see/restaurants, and staff was friendly. Cons: not what we expected from the pictures, no elevator, musty smell in room, area doesn’t feel very safe for a female alone at night, and biggest problem for me (there were TWO ROACHES) in the bathroom. Would not stay here gain because of that.
