There was an extra fee that I wasn't aware of besides the refundable card charge. It should be attached at purchase so I'm prepared to pay it. The water was cut off from 11 p.m till 5 a.m! No knowledge of this until I walk into my room and read it on a sheet of paper! That information should be shared at check in. Did some light gambling, one waitress treated me like a random walk in and never brung the drink I ordered while gambling(just 1 waitress, the rest were great). Shower pressure was low once the water did come back. Have stayed in worst...but expected more from here based on what I'd been hearing. Probably wouldn't stay again.

Avoid this place like the plague!
One of the most unpleasant stays, I have ever had at a hotel. Believe it or not, in the middle of winter, they did not have working heat. Their solution when we complained about that was to offer us a blanket. In the morning (big surprise) there was also no hot water. Avoid this place like the plague!

Incredibly uncomfortable bed with possibly the worst cheap and uncomfortable pillows on the planet. Horrible noise from a ceiling vibrating so much the light cans were rattling all night. Outdoor bar next door BLASTED techno from about 10p-5a all night long both days I was there. I checked my window 2 times thinking maybe it was open. I was on the 15th floor!!! I covered my head with a pillow and put my ear buds in and still could not stifle the noise to get a decent night sleep. Once that stopped at 5a I got to take in the ceiling noise...YAY, not! Dirty floors, Hair on the bathroom walls, Shower that did not adjust temperature.....I could go on and on and hadn't even touched the rude employee on check out who could have cared less about my concerns and me checking out a day early or the restaurant. No refund was offered no retribution whatsoever. No offer to get management. STEER CLEAR of this place there are so many others in the DT area that you will enjoy without these headaches!!! Big shout out to the Horseshoe on the strip for a good night's sleep and a great view of the sphere from floor 24.

I've stayed here numerous times and it seems the property and rooms have gone downhill in the past 6 months. The 1st room had a broken TV so I was moved to another room that had an unpleasant inexplicable odor and dirty carpet and clothing from a previous guest still there. It's inexpensive lodging so I get the standard established, but it's too bad to see this progressive drop.

Welcome to the El Cortez Tower
I liked my room, the outdoor noise from the music at the outdoor tourist Freemont Street. There were only 2 things in the room that should make note: The bathroom there should be ONE more towel bar for a room with two beds, and the rounded bed poles are a bit of a problem making in tight to get around...wasn't a good choice in selecting a bed for that space. Also, the garages should have visible floor numbers so you can see where you are parked. Had the hardest time finding the floor my car was parked.

21 and over is nice. Like to see the machine Chili Mania. The rooms being advertised be exact as you get your room. Our room was not the same as displayed. No good lighting and not up to date and dirty.

Vegas a bazillion times, my first time not staying in the strip. Was pleasantly surprised by how updated and clean the rooms were. Bathroom was a bit small but NBD. Biggest gripe is that some of the staff weren’t the friendliest, specifically the bartenders at the video poker area while we were waiting for our table to be ready. (Yes, we were playing the game.) ate at the steakhouse, food was not bad (not fantastic but decent) and our server there was a gem. Will def be back for a longer stay.
