Unfortunately the check in process was horrible. Roon key machines were down. And that caused a huge wait time to be assistant to your room. Poor receptionist let's doing it all by hers. We also had asked for room cleaning service on the 3rd day and by 5 PM. The room was still uncleaned. So we settled for just clean towels. The second evening when entering that old spike rooms onn of the peole in our party needed to use the restroom. While he went they sent securely after him and scrolled him for using the restroom and tild him "just wait and in your room" this was very unprofessional and confrontational. Not at all, how you should treat your guests

They canceled my reservation right at check in time because of "maintenance issues". They were no help finding alternative accommodations and for that matter, neither was Expedia. Only book this hotel if you have a backup plan

The property as a whole is great. Nice pool area, the bar and club are nice and the adult outside play area has so much to do. The music was not a problem for us in our room but they do provide earplugs if you were to need them. The only downside is the curtains are not black out at all and at night the bright lights shown through and during the morning once sun came up very bright as well. The mattress was not the best either. It’s an easy walk to Fremont and we did not feel unsafe walking to and from the hotel late at night!

Well you often get what you pay for, but there are still some things about this hotel I wasn’t keen on. I knew this was an older hotel and do love the retro vibe to it and the location being close to the old strip (Fremont) and again what I paid for it was a good price. These were my issues: I saw a cockroach in my hotel room I was there for a week and not once was my room cleaned. When I asked mid week for my room cleaned and clean towels they replaced the towels and emptied the garbages: that was it The pool was too cold. I’m from Canada and can take the cold but this pool was as cold as the ocean in the summer time is in western Canada The photos for hotel advertising looks like when they last renovated their hotel at least a decade an ago. It’s not as nice as the photos and needs at least some light renovations done Overall I would not stay here again, but still has a fun time with my friends in Vegas. If you’re seeking a low budget retro hotel and don’t mind the issues I mentioned about this hotel may be for you. It’s rated a 3.5 star hotel but it’s more of a 2.5 star.
