We had a great stay. The condo is well equipped with all the necessities. The location is perfect. We had a view of the ocean and the mountains. Rainbows every evening. The beach and pool are top notch. We saw the beautiful sunsets every evening. The grocery stores and food truck malls are within walking distance. We are home cooked meals, food trucks, Dukes and at Whaler village. We got yummy cinnamon rolls at Papi Hana’s. Kaanapali and Honua Kai thanks for showing us a great time

We had a wonderful time here. The condo was perfect for our family of 4. The living room area was roomy and we ate breakfast out on the deck with a beautiful view of the greenery and ocean. We had a great stay at the Honua Kai Resort. The property is beautiful and very well kept. The room was well stocked and very nice. The free valet is a nice bonus. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone looking to vacation on Maui.

The property was beautiful. We were able to swim with sea turtles and snorkel directly from the beach in front of the hotel. My daughter loved the pools and the waterslide. The pool side service from Dukes was excellent.

Great Maui Property!
Our family of four, including two kids aged 13 and 11, had an unforgettable stay at this Maui vacation property. The early check-in was a much-appreciated convenience that set a positive tone for our vacation. Highlights: • Location: The beachfront location is unbeatable. We loved snorkeling and were thrilled to see several turtles. • Amenities: The pools were fantastic and well-maintained, with a handy towel service. • Condo: The condo was perfect for us. It allowed us to cook simple meals, and the kids had space to spread out. Our 11-year-old enjoyed the pullout sofa in the living room, while our 13-year-old appreciated the den as a separate space. • Dining and Shopping: Duke’s was great and convenient for meals, and the lobby market was a lifesaver. We especially loved the fresh poke available on M, W & F. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Room for Improvement: • We’d love an actual bed in the den, as the pullout sofa was not very comfortable for our 13-year-old and woulnd't be suitable for an adult • Parking: Parking was occasionally tricky. One evening, there were no spaces available, so we used valet. The valet was late reopening the next morning, causing a stressful situation. After several frantic calls, a security person from another tower helped us retrieve our key, and we found the car on our own. This incident almost caused us to miss our prepaid excursion. Overall, fantastic!

Gorgeous apartment on gorgeous property
What a wonderful slice of paradise. We were very thankful for beautiful accommodations, plentiful included amenities both from the resort and within the unit itself and for the excellent location. Of course after the fires we were concerned about being so close to the areas affected (we didn't want to take resources or space from those who needed it) but we also were happy to be able to visit locally-owned businesses and get to know the amazing and strong people who live here. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Great place. Very clean. Parking is a bit tricky. Couple times had to wait 30 minutes to get my car from the valet. Have no other choice than to valet since parking garage is always full. Bare bones staff right now at the Honua Kai. All of that is understandable given the circumstances. Just something to keep in mind if you book in the near future.

Great condo, great resort! It was clean, well maintained and had everything we needed, even beach chairs. Huge bathroom and comfortable bed. Loved having coffee / wine on the lanai with ocean and mountain views. Duke’s is not only convenient but delicious! Highly recommend.

Perfect spot!
The pictures of the view from the lanai and the pools do not do this place justice. Just amazing! Family of 5 with three teens had plenty of space to spread out and come together as needed. The resort itself is not overcrowded and you can watch a beautiful sunset from the beach every night. With Duke’s on property you can swim and listen to live music while the sky changes color. Also, close to many other beaches and food opportunities if you can pull yourself away from the resort.

Perfect Family Getaway
The condo was perfect for our family (3 adults, 2 kids). The owners were very attentive and responsive throughout the whole process. We always love staying at the Honua Kai and always love having our own kitchen and laundry in condo. The view is wonderful as well. Highly recommend this property!

Love the property. Room was nice and had everything needed for the pool and beach outings. Mattresses could be replaced. Not the most comfortable. Resort spa was disappointing. Very expensive. No robes provided or even towels to shower afterwards. No spa atmosphere for relaxing before or after, but for the price you’d expect the whole spa experience.

Fantastic property with every amenity you’d need
The condo was wonderful— had every amenity you’d need and was perfect for our family of 4. Loved all the sand toys, boogy boards, and beach items. Also had a pack and play and booster seat which was very helpful and lightened the load for traveling. We had a delay in our travel arrangements and the property managers were super responsive and helpful. Couldn’t recommend more highly. Looking forward to going back!
