Loved the staff & customer service was excellent! Suggestions for the room: 1. Bathroom was missing a towel rack which was much needed, to dry towels. 2. There was very little space in the kitchen to store the food we purchased. There is a closet in the kitchen which appears to have been the size and shape meant to be a pantry. An easy fix would be to add shelves. Additional Property charges weren't clear on Expedia 1. Resort charge about $40, one time. 2. Property charge about $25 each day. Parking Could be close or far from the room, as many of the spots are reserved. The staff were kind enough to let us park closer due to our age & health needs, this was an exception though. Again, we would come stay at this property, but ask more questions before hand.

Fantastic and beautiful resort in a prime location. Just a bit dated. Only issue was sofa bed. King bed is fine but the ones using (extra) sofa bed will be uncomfortable. Overall a great experience.

Beautiful place with hotel ameniti s but feels like you're renting a condo. Loved the complimentary coffee in the mornings. Everything was nearby and convenient. There's a nice cafe restaurant on site right next to the beach and 2 pools. It was a place that had a good number of people staying there but it didn't feel crowded. Lots of space to spread out. The room was nice and big ngor 3 people we got a room with a king bed and pull out couch that was nice. The room has a full kitchen but the microwave was the best part. You can even see more stars at night around there. Kids are around but it wasn't hard to have peace and quiet. I read a great book from their communal library. Staff was nice and attentive. I got an amazing massage at the Spa Le Mer which reset my whole body! The location is close to a lot of other nice hotels and beaches. Grocery stores and nice restaurants nearby. 5 mins from snorkeling and Whalers Village. Very nice place and I would return and stay here again. Mahalo!

We absolutely loved the location. The beach access was worth the whole trip. Nice and friendly staff. Room is huge! Only negative is the furniture is old old old and shabby. I’m ok with the 1970’s Hawaiian vibe but the couch and chairs were really worn out. Just needs a little TLC with new furniture and then it would be amazing! Would stay there again for sure. The location is everything! Mahalo!

We really enjoyed our stay the resort is well Maintained and gorgeous. Loved the fact it’s within walking distance to the beach. The restaurant is good the food was ok but a little pricey, drinks were good, taco Tuesday was probably the best meal there. The room was nice but we saw several roaches during our stay inside in the kitchen area. Under the sink and around the dishwasher and on the outdoor deck area there was a large one and there were a couple in the pool too which is understandable outside but the ones inside were disgusting and made me feel a little uncomfortable after that. We tried to ensure we didn’t leave any trash in the trash bins and would empty them and keep the sink cleaned to avoid them coming out but they would still appear in the kitchen area. This was my first time in Maui. We’ve stayed in Oahu previously and never once saw any roaches during our stay there. Other than the roaches everything was great. Housekeeping was only conducted once during our 7 days there on the fourth day. We kept running out of clean towels and toilet paper. Maybe more frequent cleaning would be helpful.

First unit was a nightmare but the wonderful ladies at the front desk fixed the situation and put us in a safe room . The location is nice the free trolley to whalers village is great . Castaway has good drinks ONLY .

Exceeded my expectations. Booked very close to travel dates, and this was one of my few options. I went with the Studio with Garden View. My room ended up being in the Dolphin building which was 1 of the 2 closest to the beach, and also being ground floor was literally just a few steps to the sand. The room was clean, had a big bathroom (the giant sea turtle inlaid on the floor was a great touch), and an updated kitchen. Room service came once in the middle for a week stay which was just fine for my needs (towels could be traded out at any time). The grounds were beautifully kept, and the pools & hot tubs clean. There were renovations going on at one of the buildings farther from the beach, but I never heard it from my building. Plenty of free parking (which is a big deal in this area). The Ka'anapali Beach Trail passes through the resort, so it offered easy walking access to the north & south. In conclusion I was happily blown away by what I received for money spent, and this was tied with 1 other place for the cheapest options in all of West Maui. This beat other resorts (from previous times) by closeness to a sand beach, beauty, & amenities and was several hundred dollars cheaper per night.

Only thing i didn't like was our room, sliding door didn't have a locked they came to fixed 2 times and still didn't lock the smell from room was very strong, like old that was my only problem , ended buying a lot of candles

This property is conveniently located on the beach. It is quiet, safe and has two wonderful pools. The ocean is a few steps away with a long stretch of walkable beach. excellent shopping and Restaurants are a short driveway.

Solid 3 star hotel. We booked through Travelocity after a friend recommended this hotel for the location and value. We knew it would be dated based upon their stay so our expectations weren’t too high. We had a very spacious “1 bedroom” which wasn’t truly a 1 bedroom as there was an old school accordion screen dividing the rooms. I probably would have giving this place more stars if it weren’t for the absolutely awful mattresses. They had to have been over 20 years old each. One was as hard as a box spring and the other had 2 human sized indents that you’d fall into and couldn’t roll out of. The full kitchen was wonderful and came in handy for breakfast and packing lunches but there were some cleanliness issues there too. Nothing we couldn’t deal with though… All of that said we didn’t ask to change rooms as it was a booked week and we had our 2 little kids with us. changing rooms felt like more of a racket and a gamble than just staying put. the staff was incredibly kind. And the LOCATION was incredible. Just out front there’s a beautiful calm and sandy beach to float/ swim in and In front of the next resort over there’s great snorkeling. The restaurant at this hotel had friendly service and made a decent burger and fries and had a beautiful ocean view and pool view. I don’t know that I’d book this hotel again. I’d probably try something new. But we’re overall satisfied with our visit
