Staff were friendly and helpful but accommodation was dingy and in places, dirty. Bathroom walls had black patches. Peeling paint. Bed was old, saggy, and extremely uncomfortable. We moved from our initial suite since the bath and basin did not drain. Limited kitchen equipment. Access area to our first suite (328) was dirty and run down.

As my 10 year old son said this place is the Ass-ton. When we first arrived we waited 30 min in the line to check in. We then opened the door and the first thing that hits you is the must from the original carpets probably 1970’s era. The room was terrible, you could hear every little noise. Beds terrible and shower had no pressure. The same evening we came in it was 10pm hawaiian time, but 1am our time they called to fix the showers and came in for 30 min as there was an emergency leak. We were supposed to get up at 2am to drive to haleakala, but could not due to lack to sleep. This place has not been renovated since it was built, even my hands smelled from touching the door knobs. My daughter said this place ruined her vacation. Do not stay here.

If you like the sentiment of Old Hawaii then you’ll love this property. The grounds are lush and well kept..The large family pool is beautiful and the spa is perfect for relaxing. This property is not sleek and modern as it was built in the late 70’s or early 80’s. Our 1 bedroom condo was very clean, roomy and had a gorgeous ocean view. The furniture was reminiscent of Hawaii long ago as dark carved wood was used throughout the living and bedroom area. If you're looking for a sleek and modern facility., then this place probably is not the right place for you. We loved it and had a great time.

We have stayed here a few times before. The room we had was furnished with older and very uncomfortable furniture. The couch was a pull out that we did not use but was so hard to sit on. Not enough cooking pans and pots, and the pillows were hard and small. I remember this being much nicer 8 years ago. Great employees, the beach is right there.

Very nice clean and quiet area. The staff were friendly and the overall room was clean and everything was functional. Both pools were clean and the surrounding as well. The location is close to local stores nearby. Our room was outdated but saw some newer updates options. The massage location was convenient and great service that was a quick walk away.

My stay was amazing perfect location for everything you need to do. The people that work there are super friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say needs improvement is the security one night we came back to the hotel and there was a guy checking door handles on the cars and I told the guy to leave and he didn’t listen so I told the front desk and the security came and by the time they came the guy was gone. So make sure you lock your vehicles and don’t leave anything in there just in case. Overall experience is a 4.5/5 star for us!!!
