Not happy with the room. Poor air-condition. Wifi was worst . Guest services was just ok. Room and bathroom conditions were below average. Need renovation for the cost of stay. Property surroindings, pool and proximity to beach was amazing. Will not stay again if the rooms and bathrooms are not renovated.

Our family spent a fantastic week at this resort. The grounds are beautiful. Perfectly close to the beach. Abundance of lounge chairs available for guests to enjoy the outdoors. We loved all the activities we took advantage of and learned about Hawaiian history and culture. The kids loved the pool. Convenient walking distance to shopping and other restaurants/activities. We really loved this hotel.

Everything was amazing EXCEPT the wifi in our room did not work. We asked the front desk more than 4x, people came to try to fix it but it was never fixed. They did however waive the resort fee to compensate for the personal expense we had due to having to use our own data to access the internet. Overall it was there staffing that made the resort amazing!!!!

Our first visit to Maui and we loved it. The Outrigger staff were all great and the beach was right below our oceanfront newly remodeled room. Two minute walk to Whalers Village was convenient. Only a few knocks against this resort. No microwave in the room despite Expedia showing it as an amenity. No heating expensive leftovers here. The on-site Maui Brewing Co is basically the only on-site restaurant and you can forget about dinner reservations unless it’s for 8 of more in your group. That’s what they told me anyway. I did see a reserved sign on a section where there is a long side seating bar and only two showed up but have to sit side by side. The folks in this restaurant were not very accommodating but they will hand you their billing device to pick the top. No tip I’d not an option. Two beach loungers and an umbrella will cost $90 each day, resort fees of around $42/day (including taxes), parking around $25/day, breakfast, which is pretty good buffet style, will set you back $65/day for a couple. Just add $200/day if you expect to eat breakfast and hang on the beach all day. Would I go back here my next visit? Yes, the location, beach, and staff were great. PS There are 4 catamarans that pick up and drop off customers on the Outrigger section of the beach. Goes on all day. Not too much of an inconvenience except for one time when around 40 people stood around our umbrella waiting to be picked up for a snorkeling tour.

Great beach access, restaurant/shopping options and location. We loved staying at the Outrigger Kaanapali resort. The view from the ocean front rooms are unreal!!

The hotel is generally not bad. The service in the restaurant leaves much to be desired, although the food is quite tasty. We arrived in the morning, the receptionist offered to upgrade the room, promised an updated room with a larger area. It is difficult to say about the quality of the finishing, but she lied about the footage of the room. This is very disappointing.
