This is by far the best location for a hotel in NYC because of the quiet location and easy way to get to Manhattan. Rooms are spacious and breakfast is A la Carte. We will come back here!

I was impressed from the moment I entered the property. It is well-decorated and very appealing. Flyboy is a definite bonus! The staff was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about activities nearby and how to access public transportation. They were engaging and gave great tips on my areas of interest in the city! The room was beautiful, clean, and quiet, which made for a relaxing stay. I will most definitely utilize the Graduate on all of my trips back to New York!

Housekeeping snafu; fine after that!
I arrived at 8pm and went to my room to find that housekeeping hasn't cleaned the room from the previous guest... the front desk apologized and quicky offered me another room, which was perfectly clean and ready for a new guest.

Bathroom not cleaned well. Not enough help at front desk. Inconvenient charge of credit card ahead of check out. Front desk not welcoming at all. Do not like that there isn’t any info about hotel, how to get ice, etc etc in room! For the cost to stay at this hotel, I should be giving 4 and 5 stars! Will not return !

Close by but a world away from the loud & busy streets of NYC. Easy commute one stop away from the heart of the city by subway or tram. Great sweeping views of NYC from the room I got and the 17th floor bar & terrace. Close to the FDR monument. Free island shuttle.
